- Beautiful location, peaceful little town. Hotel was charming, staff was wonderful. Restaurant was also great.
- Lovely location and well kept. Staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke good English too
- A wonderful German experience in an old family owned hotel. Fantastic location, and super accommodating as I was traveling by myself. The food was delicious, (Pumpkin soup w coconut milk and Black Forest trout) the service exceptional and oh my, the Black Forest cake!
Cons -
- The room was a bit small but I chose the twin bed accommodation. If I were to do it over again, I would have paid the up charge for a double room.
- Nothing - it was lovely
- Needed air con as room far to hot to be able to sleep

Lovely, friendly family run hotel with pool and sauna. We stayed two nights in a family room which was big enough for two adults and two teenagers. Great breakfast selection, and nice dinner on a lovely terrace. The staff were very helpful.

Lovely hotel and beautiful swimming pool
Needed air con as room far to hot to be able to sleep
In my room when I was there. I experienced wi-fi issues For some reason the signal was not reaching my room. I complained about it and they offered to switch my room but I think it might have been a router location issue but other than that this place was exceptional I highly endorse it.KennyChicago
Other than my Wi-Fi issue everything was to my satisfaction I have no complaints.KennyChicago
The breakfast is good. The enviroment is good. The staff are friendly.
The roof slope is not to my liking.
Great location, nice, big rooms even though a bit outdated. Bed comfortable, great breakfast and restaurant fantastic for the evening meal. The pool area was great and the water not too cold. We loved it!
Nothing, will be back for sure
The spa is good and it is well maintained. The restaurant terrace is nice for an evening drink. Personnel are very kind and well mannered.
This is a family-oriented hotel. That means that you'll see and hear kids everywhere, including the spa and your room, as the isolation is quite poor. Eclectic decoration crosses the point of poor taste in several parts of the building. Breakfast comes directly from Lidl, don't expect anything better. The rooms are old, and the "vintage" floor carpet smells kind of funny.
Lovely location surrounded by the forest. Very friendly staff.
There is always someone at the reception, but the swimming pool is not open very early or very late. There are no light blankets provided in the room despite the summer heat.
nice pool, excellent breakfast, close to interesting places in the area
room above sauna/pool a bit hot. indeed AC is available in the room and problem could be fixed
Very nice location for our night in the Black Forest. Our room was very large and comfortable. Incredible restaurant on site. We had a lovely dinner of local dishes. Very helpful staff. Very nice breakfast was included in our stay as well.
Room was quite warm and due to location a bit noisy with windows open. A fan of some sort would be a nice addition.
Good at all
When you open a window at night the roadside is a bit noisy due to high number of truck passing through
Great spa area - it is a bit expensive due to the spa so book this place if you have time to use the spa, otherwise it is a bit expensive
…
Nice breakfast
City’s parking fee is too expensive
Excellent hotel with extremely friendly staff
We regularly go there with children and grandparents. All generations enjoy staying there. The hotel also has a good restaurant.
Cannot think of anything.
Good food in the restaurant and perfect breakfast buffet.
Location, food (excellent German dishes)
