- The first impression from the roadside. But, as said before, do NOT let this put you off, in any way. We all really enjoyed our stay.
- Our rooms were on the second floor, and there is no elevator. Worth keeping in mind if you are disabled or have a lot of luggage.The room we had on our second night was very warm and humid, and there was no airco. We had the window open, and there was a lot of chatter from the beer garden below. Both rooms faced towards the traintracks which meant frequent low key noise from passing trains.The attention from the waiting staff in the restaurant was lacking.

The hotel looked a bit run-down from the outside. Do not let that put you off. It’s just quirky, which takes nothing away from the fact that we had a wonderful stay at this very welcoming and friendly atmosphere hotel. The beers were lovely, the food fantastic and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was very comfortable indeed.

The first room was nice and spacious, the second room was slightly smaller, but still fine.The food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice.Attentive staff in reception and during breakfast.We were able to park our two motorbikes in the onsite parking garage for free.

Excellent dinner off menu -- Pork Medallions and Rump Roast. The beer was nicely chilled. quaint town for an evening stroll. Breakfast was included and regionally typical.

Lovely hotel very welcoming, very accomodating for our dog,. The restaurant is excellent and breakfast very good,staff warm and friendly.
Location is good. We were able to park in the garage without any additional charges. Breakfast was excellent.
The bathroom door couldn’t open till the end and it was hard to get in. They should just change it to open in the hall not in the bathroom. We asked the maid to change the bulbs in some lamps (half of them were working and half were not) and to fix the garbage can. Nothing was done.
