    Pros +

    • Hotel Tari is an old-style hotel that provides budget accommodation. Don't expect The Ritz. It's very basic. In fact, it doesn't even have an ELEVATOR - which will be a game-changer for some elderly or disabled people. Luckily, the very friendly and helpful Duty Manager helped lug our ports up the flight of stairs, to minimize the effort required (Lucky we were on the 1st floor, not the 2nd). The room amenities are scant - NO FRIDGE. The bathroom was clean and the shower just roomy enough for my 93kg frame. We didn't have breakfast but the dining area was filled with guests as we left. Hotel Tari is located on a busy road, just a short 5 minute drive to the Wurzburg Castle.
    • The hotel is good for the price. If you are on the road, it's perfect. The breakfast was tasty tasty.
    • The hotel is cosy, the rooms comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The fact that it's pet-friendly is a great addition. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, so it's best to have a car if you want to visit the city. There are also some restaurants and a nice kebab place close by. All in all, great value for money.

    Cons -

    • No elevator will be a major problem for some elderly and disabled guests.
    • In our room the sound isolation was not good. And our walls were next to the bathroom of another room, so we heard the pipes and tunes the whole night
    • Limited food options within walking distance, but good options a short drive away.

Clean, comfortable, and easy to get to and park.

Limited food options within walking distance, but good options a short drive away.

Stable wooden "good old times" furniture and doors. Power sockets where we needed them. Cozy lights where we wanted them. This should not be taken for granted these days, especially in budget sector. Great friendly staff. Great breakfast. Free parking. Modest fee for pets (8 Euro). This place is seriously underrated, should be around 9 or more.

    Hardly anything at this price.

The breakfast was amazing! I love it that there was an emphasis von sustainability in this beautiful way with small glas jars for the yoghurt and the butter and other breakfast items. Everything felt cozy but also modern and clean and sleek.

Very small bed, not working electricity, far from the center. The breakfast way quite good.

It's clean and I like the room

Could be cheaper especially without breakfast

The breakfast quality is really good, the cheese, croissants, and even freshly made cappuccino!!

Easy to find and close to the highway, if you need to stay just overnight. We loved the "retro" setting of the dinning room. Excellent breakfast.

Breakfast and service, that was really very good, very kindly and we had more than enough. Also in the evening, we got some trinks until 10pm, the bar/ breakfast room is very fancy

our room was a bit smelly and not in the best condition. it was not easy to put the key into the lock, to open the door.in the bathroom there was always a bit of running water in the toilete, that caused sometimes noise, even in the nights.

The front of house was amazing.Couldn’t do enough.Very nice man greeted us and made us feel welcome. For us, it was very clean. My wife was impressed by the attention to detail in the bathroom.Beds and pillows were comfortable.

I don’t have anything negative to say about the property.Definitely…..100%….. I would recommend this hotel.I didn’t try the food but others have said it is very good. The beer recommendation was perfect to wind down after a long day on the road.Oh, one thing I wasn’t prepared for was how loud the shower was.The water (very good pressure and temp, by the way) fell onto the plastic shower tray with quite a loud force. Not good for your sleeping travelling companion. Also, cubicle I found quite small for my frame. However, not really a complaint and wouldn’t affect me staying again.

Breakfast is amazing! Eggs are fresh prepared, and the rest of food is just fantastic! Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Bus station to get to center of Würzburg is 100m away from hotel...

Unfortunatelly we had some issue... we left key of the room at the reception, if one of use would return earlier or later to the hotel... But, when we returned reception was closed and there was no key of the room anywhere, so we had to "sleep" in the lobby on the small couch...quite stupid thing from personnel ... and that never ever happened to me before.. So, don't leave keys at reception when leaving hotel.

It is a wonderful hotel with nice clean rooms, very friendly and supportive staff, nice location, and very good price.

    8hildePosted on: 9-16-2024

The room was OK. Unfortunately the weather was very hot so the room got very hot too since it faced South/West and the sun was heating it up. But the room cooled off relatively quickly after dark, so sleep was possible. Air conditioning would have helped, but was not expected at the hotel's price range. The breakfast was very good, had good selections, and good service. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I liked the kindness of the staff - they were kind and welcoming. The breakfast was superb.

The beds are a bit small.

The bed and memory foam pillow is really comfortable. All bathroom products are ecologically conscious. The staffs are kind and friendly and free parking is available.

Our standard room with twin bed could be a bit bigger

Outside the city, you have to travel to the center by bus or car. Good hotel parking, good breakfast.

Unfortunately, there is a strong smell in the rooms, probably because of the carpeting. Terrible noises were heard in the bathroom, the toilet flushed constantly and the pipes made a constant noise. I slept very hard.

Location is ok. We were only here for one night. Check in was quick and easy and the hostess was very polite. Room was clean. Free parking was available.

The bed and pillows definitely needed replacing. It was a bit of a walk to get to any restaurants.

The hotel is situated just a few km from the city centre. Relaxing hotel. Well presented felt fresh, inviting and homely. Reception staff were well mannered. The room was spacious the linen on the beds was a good quality.
