Hotel Jakob

Exceptionally clean. This was probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. There wasn't even a single hard water spot on the glass shower door. The room smelled very nice without smelling overly perfumed. I can't overstate how clean the room was. Parking was free. Breakfast was very good and even included warm scrambled eggs. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Both the evening staff at check-in and the breakfast staff were warm and friendly. All that we encountered were happy to speak in English for us because our German is very limited. We really appreciate that, thank you! Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. I ordered from the specials board, not the menu, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect and I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel in Gross Umstadt. A little way from the center of town results in very quiet nights. Room was very nice, dinner and breakfast outstanding. Secure bicycle storage. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very nice and spacious room with a lovely garden view with lots of birds singing in the morning. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Extraordinary friendly, helping, flexible and smiling staff. Great restaurant, calm wellness-area. Overall best stay of our trip, very recommendable!!!

Very nice place with exceptional staff. Good to relax and have some walk through the vineyards.

Hard to get to without car… could have been kind of cleaner.

We liked everything from the location, to the amazing room, to the breakfast and the friendly staff.

Everything was amazing!

I arrived late & there was no parking space available & it was pouring with rain so I rang the hotel from my car & the duty manager came out & moved his car so I could park & then offered to help with my luggage, very helpful. My room was great with a balcony & both dinner & breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. Extremely helpful & friendly staff, I only stayed one night on a business trip but would highly recommended this hotel.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Great breakfast. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Comfortable bed

Not having built in air conditioning meant the room was very warm. The plug in fan just didn't cool the room enough with the high temperatures outside.

Nice and clean room near the forest. Free gym and sauna. Wifi is stable. The hotel is on the hill, so the is a good view from the window.

I had a clothing issue and the staff went that extra mile. A potential disaster averted with style

Would have good to have a kettle and tea making facilities in the room

The people were very nice and accommodating. They even provided non dairy items for my dairy intolerance.

Nice touches in the room and a great breakfast. Extra long breakfast on Saturday. We loved it.

I cannot think of anything.
