Just up a hill from town. We are going to Eltz Castle so a good location for us with vegetation all around, lots of parking and a more rural drive to the castle instead of highways.

The hotel was traditional and modern at the same time, which I liked very much. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was tasty, the breakfast was also great with even gluten-free, lactose-free options.

There was no person at all present at arrival and nothing to drink or a snack or anything. So rather felt like a rented apartment room for the price of a hotel room

This is a lovely hotel in the town of Simmern. We would have loved to explore this area more but we were on a quick visit for a family wedding nearby. This hotel is a little gem! The breakfast was good and offered a good selection of breakfast food. Unfortunately we did not try the main restaurant so I can’t comment, however one of the wedding party did go to the restaurant and reported that it was very good.Staff were friendly and helpful, very clean and quiet location. Would love to return again someday.
