Hôtel Restaurant Le Repère

The hotel is a converted mansion, sitting on a hill with a commanding view of the town and Valley. The restaurant had very good food and an amazing view. The bar was excellent. The grounds are lovely and had a swimming pool. It has a small elevator and a lovely, large elegance staircase. The staff was wonderful.

The room was small as you might typically find in Europe

Very nice staff. Lovely pool. Our room was nice and big. The view from the terrace is lovely. The our breakfast was great value for money sat on the terrace with lovely view. We would definitely stay again.

Don't arrive early.

Having to wait until 17.00 for the hotel to open, to book in, and then a further hour for the bar to open, to be able to get a drink. I had travelled for over 6 hours, on a motorbike, in 34° of heat and I was very unimpressed to find the hotel locked and bolted with not a single member of staff in attendance.

Very clean, lovely comfy bed, great bathroom. Good breakfast in the morning. Nice old villa looking over the town, pretty terrace and very smart dining area.

I messaged to ask about my Kindle which I had left under the pillow. Am still waiting for an answer. Hence the decision to rate it 7, not higher.

Middle of no where , no staff on hand , average room, toilet built in corner of room , very Ave experience would not go back.

Nicely located. Wonderful view. Good air conditioning.

Restaurant was not up to expectations. The tartare de beuf tasted like it had ketchup in it. It came out pink in color versus red.

Quirky, old chateau? With a cool vibe. Wonderful outside terrace area. Willing and attentive staff.

Only opens at 5pm but that was no major issue. They were very clear about that on email

Very friendly staff and excellent food in the restaurant.

The room was dated, soiled carpet, no kettle for tea or coffee. Separate toilet with no wash basin.

This was an erroneous booking which the hotel did not want to change. We lost the money without ever having been at this place

Property was ideal location for driving the Napoléon Way.Good evening meal and breakfast.

Bedroom was comfortable but small and decor was ‘tired’.

It was a nice hotel , and inside it was modern, The Restaurant was very nice with great views . The food outstanding and the service was very good

Staff is particularly friendly and very welcoming and the location is great, being surrounded by nature. The outside lounge with bar and the restaurant were great with excellent service.

The location was beautiful, great views, nice walks nearby, very peaceful. The pool was nice and the room was clean and comfortable with nice decor. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The pool and terrace bar were closed over lunchtime which was when I planned to use them. Check in was only after 17h.

Location and amenities were good at the property, close to market and town centre. View from the restaurant was spectacular.

The whole hotel was closed down between 2pm-5pm, so in case you reach before than 5PM, no request or access to the property is available, we were lucky enough to have a car for ourselves where we rested and waited for hotel staff to open the hotel for us. This is quite weird as normally hotels do not accept your early check-in request (which is understandable as per policy) but they provide the property access and where you can keep your stuff and just be relax,Also, the whole property was built quite old which had lot of noises at night when some walks on any floor. In the beginning you may need perfume or good scent if you are weak hearted.Odd timing of check in and check out.

Tap hanging off in washbasin. Shower not working. Stains on carpet.Smell of cannabis on stairs. Disappointing breakfast given price.
