Hotel Bocciolo

Breakfast and location were good, room was well sized.

We were really excited for the jacuzzi and when we arrived, were told it was closed for the season (even though it was being promoted in the elevator). No coffee maker or kettle in the room.

Ample and easy parking, huge room, wonderful restaurant, location and view. We were able to walk to the city center and back (a little further than we realized) and also tour the island nearby easily. Lake Orta is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy life. It's charming, historic, small and not crowded.

One day the restaurant was closed and so were a lot of others, so we had some difficulty finding one but finally did.

It was so good! The hotel is beautifully located, the room is very comfortable, everything is well thought out and arranged, and the breakfast is varied and delicious. The staff is always willing to help. The hotel restaurant is also very good with excellent food and good service.

The weather was lousey, but, of course, that's not the hotel's fault. I'd like to come back.

It was a perfect location with a beautiful view. It was awesome that we could charge my friend’s car and inside a garage.

Though the hotel was nearly empty, we were given rooms with no view of the lake. Furnishings were comfortable enough, but more functional than pretty

Wonderful location close to the lake and Orta, very friendly staff, cosy quiet room, nice relax zone garden, the very delicious breakfast with view to the lake; we enjoyed staying there a lot!

The view from the terraces of our rooms was magnificent; breakfast was very good

I suggest they provide a tea/coffee machine in the room and better laundry facilities

Helpful staff managed to change our room to one with a lake view on our arrival, great location and enjoyed our stay

The accommodations were modern and clean. The view was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent, everything was fresh and of excellent quality. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, it was a good size room, the staff were all really friendly, breakfast choice was amazing, the communal areas were clean and comfortable and had spare books to read (which I needed ?), view of the lake was beautiful, we were in a nice quiet part of the hotel on the end, the restaurant food was delicious.

Not sure there was anything we didn’t like ?

Staff is exceptional. Very helpful and friendly. Location and room were great. Restaurant is good . Would stay again.

Only issue was finding it in the dark driving in...but that was our fault.

Lovely views of the lake. Secure underground parking for motorbikes. Comfortable bed. Hot tubs. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants.

Staff were a little unfriendly and unavailable. We had to hunt around for people to get attention at the bar. Noisy social events that went on until late. Felt expensive for what little facilities are in the room. No kettle, for example.

Breakfast was really nice, fresh egg station, great view from the breakfast terrace of Lake Orta. The staff, everyone we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

We arrived early but the staff were great providing us with drinks and somewhere nice to sit with a lake view while our room was made up. The room was lovely and cool, clean and comfortable on a really hot day. The staff helped by providing a map of the local area and some suggestions for what to do and where to visit.

We were more than a little disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed on the one night we were there (wed) and were given no reason why. The reception staff implied that sometimes its shut Mondays, sometimes Wednesdays, sometimes both. ?‍♀️Watch out for the biting insects (ants in the garden and mosquitoes on the terrace) but what can I say they seem to like feasting on me wherever I am.

Very clean and comfortable room with a large balcony overlooking the lake. Unfortunately we only had one night there, so were not able to take advantage of the facilities. Would recommend though, based on our limited experience.

Nice view on the lake from the terrace, large bedroom. The restaurant is also a good value and quite busy when I stayed there.Free parking and relatively large number of spaces

Room does not have usual EU plug compatibility, only the 3-in line italian style.Bit annoying.
