Aries hotel very well provided everything we expected, with good organisation, good breakfast, easy car parking at the entrance and helpful staff. Great value and convenience. The bathroom having a window is a very comfortable feature.

The staff is friendly. Communication in English and German is no problem. As a stopover, the hotel is perfectly ok.

Remove the table in the 1 bed rooms. Takes up too much space. In general, the dark wooden walls and cabinets should be replaced with light-colored furniture.The bathrooms need to be completely renovated. The showers are dirty and all the fixtures hang like on a thin rope.Oh and the bidet... get rid of it... no one uses it anymore... we are no longer in the 70s.The breakfast? Well... all packaged. It seemed to me more like food for astronauts. Nothing fresh except for the fruit.The underground garage is not suitable for large cars and it is more like an antique store; old mirrors, cabinets, lamps... What is the point of keeping such things?

Quiet, good location and spacious room

Whilst it was clearly old it was loved and prided a charm appropriate to its location.

Parking, the garage was impossible for a sports car and the only availability for several nights was a side road.

Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi worked well.

Showering facilities could be updated. Shower hook at waist height no option to have shower above head and no screen or curtain.

Hotel in a quiet location not far from the lake. Promenade with restaurants and cafes nearby. The price corresponds to the quality. Very good breakfast.

poor water pressure in the shower. bath was not so clean and old. tv screen is less than a 24 inch. air conditioning controls by the hotel.

Room large, clean and quiet. Staff at reception very helpful and friendly. Breakfast plentiful with typical Italian hotel fare, staff very attentive. Location next to main road (not overly busy) but our room was on side which was quieter. 10 mins from Stresa and 2 mins from centre of Lesa village.

Air conditioning in room was set to 18 and couldn't be adjusted as centrally controlled. However, did not cool the room very well and the room felt quite hot.

The staff. So friendly and helpful. Really made the stay for us.

The Aircon (which worked perfectly well) was just a bit dripping from time to time. Rooms still nice and fresh and wasn't a problem for us as all, but I can see it bothering some guests.
