The 4-star family Hotel Spinne is located at the foot of the Eiger, right in the center of the glacier village Grindelwald and features an inviting spa area and 2 restaurants. Wireless internet access is available in the entire hotel free of charge. The heated infinity outdoor pool with a unique mountain view invites guests to fully relax. Spa area and Infinity Pool open from 12noon until 21:00. In the Ristorante Mercato the finest pizzas, pasta and hearty meat dishes as well as tender fish dishes are served. In the cozy Rôtisserie you can enjoy international and traditional regional cuisine surrounded by candlelight and gentle sounds of music. The Hotel Spinne's large terrace offers superb mountain views and the lounge invites you for a drink at the open fireplace. To end your day in a perfect way, you can visit the Espresso Bar.

- The location right at the base of Eiger was great! The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, breads, danishes, coffee, bacon, omelets, meats and cheeses. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The views were out of this world from the pool!!!!

- I thought the rooms needed to be updated but definitely get one with a balcony.
