    Pros +

    • Very nice property with all you need on site. Comfortable rooms, lobby bar and two very good restaurants onsite. Breakfast is also very nice and includes all you need.
    • Good location. The breakfast was good.
    • We stayed at Le Domaine de Rouffach for one night during the Christmas season while visiting Colmar. The hotel is very close to the city center but more affordable than hotels in the center. It was super cozy and especially lovely at this time of year, with beautiful Christmas decorations. The overall atmosphere of the hotel and the rooms was warm and welcoming.Breakfast was normal, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly. If you’re visiting Colmar during Christmas, I really recommend this hotel.

    Cons -

    • The bath room is very congested.
    • Beds were not comfortable and only 1 pillow. It could be more comfortable.
    • The pool area was very small and not exactly what we expected from the pictures. Also, no separate rooms to change clothes.

Location was fantastic when traveling by car as parking was easy. Hotel was so quaint and rustic with holiday decorations. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Loved indoor pool and jacuzzi. Facilities were clean and restaurant selection great, breakfast delightful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beds were not comfortable and only 1 pillow. It could be more comfortable.

    9MihaiPosted on: 11-28-2025

The staff was very friendly, the restaurant had good food and wines, we enjoyed the rustic rooms and the pool downstairs, although the water could have been warmer :). Nevertheless the kids enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi very much, so we will definitely go back if possible.

The pool and sauna facilities were great. The staff at the hotel was also very nice and accommodating. Good size rooms and bathroom. The views around the hotel are also spectacular. Breakfast was great.

    good restaurant

a single person managing both reception and service at the bar and in the garden

Excellent room. Pool and sauna were a nice bonus. Very friendly staff. Plenty of options for breakfast.

    4AgnePosted on: 3-3-2025

Shabby place trying to position its shabbiness as historical charm,

Sauna and hamam were not working. Dinner ws too late to book - we squeezed however the small sofas in the bar area - not ideal with two babies and few sick people, but better than nothing.

The views from the room, The old styled construction of the building, the breakfast, the size of the room.

Bathroom was a bit old fashioned and a tip uncomfortable

    6AthanasiosPosted on: 12-16-2024

It is a very old building duly refurbished. Rooms are small and clean, bathroom was renovated. Furniture in all areas and rooms worn and old fashioned. We did not try the pool, if you do not opt for the pool there is no good reason to pay 172 euros per twin room, B/B (average price for 5 nights). We consider the price highly expensive. The breakfast is just ok. Rouffach is around half an hour far from Colmar by car and is a very quite, non touristic wine growing village with little facilities. The breakfast hall is really nice, old fashioned. Parking ample and free in public spaces. The two restaurants (one brasserie and one gourmet) are very good.

We consider the management of the hotel very cheapy: 1) I was charged for a pair of plastic slippers (white, soft and china made) with 3 euros and 2) in the middle of wine growing hectares the welcome drink is a plastic little water bottle. It would be better not to offer that welcome drink. Recommended? it is a rather expensive hotel with some character. We found closer to other highly touristic villages cheaper prices.

    I can't recommend ?

Hotel is very dated and in the middle of nowhere, no chance to order a taxi from that place nor from the train station to the hotel. It's 15min walk from the train station (super difficult with big suitcases). When called the hotel for help with transport, they told us to walk. Very overpriced for what it is. Ate in both of their restaurants, and got food poisoning from the gourmet restaurant, had to shorten our stay. No kettle, tea or coffee in the room.

    Basic, functional room, helpful staff

Just a little too basic and somewhat dated.

    6RabetyPosted on: 10-22-2024

The location was central. Nice atmosphere.

The bed frame in room-17 has been broken and noone noticed until we slept. Result: waking up with back pains.

    5TheodorPosted on: 9-22-2024

    Nice old property with character.

Bathrooms need updating, shower in swimming pool and sauna ‘condemee’ and therefore unavailable. So whilst should shower before sauna and swim and indeed after you couldn’t. If you want a dressing gown that’s extra. Main restaurant unavailable throughout our stay. Bistro food was fine but service appalling. We were asked whether we would like a desert , said yes but then had to ask twice over 30 minutes to receive menu. Then after another 30 minutes order still not taken so we left.
