Le relais du Haut Limousin

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Everything is within a quick walk. We have stayed there three times now and will stay again. The family that operates the hotel are wonderful.

We stopped in the town because of a thunderstorm, & being on a motorcycle didn’t want to travel further. We decided to stay here, what a great piece of luck. Yes, the decor is dated, but go with the flow & you’ll love it. Impeccably kept, with a kind hostess. We stayed for dinner & had the best meal of our two week stay in France.

Breakfast was lovely and the host charming. Very close to the train station so easy to get to. Very close to the centre of town and beautiful river

The property was in a convenient location for what we needed it for.

The property is quite dated which isn’t a problem, but the room was quite dusty and dirty. Dust on most surfaces. Dirty mark on cupboard under sink. Hair and dirt in the corners, especially in the bathroom. The towels were quite nice and soft but small.

Very friendly owners plus their two cats who were great company. Isabelle in particular could not have done more to make my stay enjoyable. AS I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, in February Eymoutiers is largely closed and there was nowhere open to get an evening meal. On mentioning this to Isabelle she immediately rustled up a really enjoyable evening meal which made my stay so much more enjoyable.

This provided very good value for money for a one night stopover on the way back to the ferries. It may at first appear a little dated in finish, but it was nonetheless very clean and tidy, equipped well and did the job. Very pleasant and engaging service and nice light breakfast - with a splendid morning coffee to go with it. Adjacent free parking and you can also pull up outside the hotel. Very dog-friendly. It was a Monday so Eymoutiers largely closed up but I did manage to find a small bar for a quick drink.

The decor is dated and the hotel currently up for sale so any major investment is likely to await new owners.

This was the only hotel available at short notice in this town. It was convenient for restaurants

Decor was shabby and uninviting. The room we were given had no radiator on the wall despite the fact that the hotel seemed almost empty. Room and ensuite decoration was ugly and uncomfortable

Very friendly and accommodating owner. Restaurant downstairs is amazing, great food for not much money.They have motorcycle parking just out front.

Good location in Eymoutiers, easy to walk everywhere.

Tea and coffee-making facilities in the room would have been nice.

Our interactions with Isabella were superb. She was very helpful and informative. I look forward to seeing her another time.
