Just great experience we had a hiccup but booking.com and the hotel corrected it was so professional and helpful couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly.

Good position and good breakfast. Convenient as a stopping point driving through France.

Very disappointed that the restaurant was not open on a Sunday because it was not flagged up in the description on Booking.com.

Hotel room was very comfortable, and food good. Staff helpful.

Would have rated it higher, but being a Friday, there was a music group in the restaurant, who where only just OK. However, there was thumping techno music from an adjoining bar that thumped out this awful noise until after midnight. So a quiet night’s rest before a long drive the following day, it was definitely not.

Characterful place. Enjoyed our meal in the restaurant and appreciated the simple breakfast provided. Tea, coffee and water provided in the room. Attractive town.

Space, cleanliness, location

Lack of staff to welcome. Code for key box wasn’t sent by email or sms as promised - had to phone twice in order to gain entry.

Really convenient from the motorway travelling. Easy parking. Good communication from the owner Very clean with an excellent shower/bathroom and proper pod coffee machine.

Would’ve like slightly more at breakfast which to be fair had delicious croissants and lots of breads but only baby bell or preserves. Maybe some ham? As I only drink decaf would’ve appreciated at least an instant version in the room or at breakfast.

Lovely quiet place, spacious bedroom and modern bathroom. Free parking in front, in the old town so beautiful old buildings around to see.Breakfast provided is excellent with fresh baguette and croissants. Everything you need to start the day. Restaurant is good, maybe not enough vegetarian choice.

Lovely old staircase but (and that’s very personal) still stairs !!

Refrigerator in our room was not working

The room was lovely & spacious with all the necessary facilities. Private toilet & bathroom. Bed was really comfortable. Easy access using the key box entry. Breakfast was limited but more than sufficient. Hotel is located on a lovely picturesque square with other bars & restaurants nearby. We only stayed for one night as a stop off driving through France, but we may well visit again.

Location and size/comfort of room

All payment/entrance and exit automated so didn’t meet the people who were running the hotel. However, all automation worked!

Massive room with large comfortable bed and good size shower. Room had a/c, which did drip water by the electrics! Would certainly stay again

Great room very big and clean. The restaurant downstairs is great. Other restaurants and bars in the square too.

Well equipped bedroom and had a lovely meal in the restaurant downstairs with friendly staff, acceptable breakfast just what is needed on a long drive !

An experience never to be repeated

This is not a proper hotel - it doesn't have a host.Nothing was mentioned in the Booking.com listing that there are no staff, no service, no reception, and that you are expected to fend for yourself to actually get in to the Hotel.We arrived at 4.30 on 4th March and found the place locked up and empty. The promised text giving the code for the key boxes on the wall was not sent and they did not respond to our telephone calls. We then had to hang around for over two hours in the cold before someone came to open up.To cap it all the restaurant was fully booked so we couldn't eat there.The breakfast was very basic, and of course no staff there to sort out the broken coffee machine or the lack of croissants.It is unacceptable and dishonest to have advertised this hotel without any indication of the bizarre system it operates under, and without showing any comments that make mention of it.Of course by the time we found out about it, it was too late to cancel as they had already taken the money!
