- Very fine hotel when you need a stop while traveling through France. Have stayed here twice before. The rooms are upgraded. Pity that the restaurant is closed (used to be very charming).
- Wonderful simple accommodation, fabulous location, very friendly helpful staff. Clean, everything basic that you need. We’ve stayed there in the summer too and there’s a great swimming pool.
- Good parking in courtyard, large rooms and very comfortable bed
Cons -
- Nothing. It is basic; good bed, clean shower room, nice fluffy towels. Ideally, it would be good to have better lighting for those who like to read in bed. Yea-making facilities in the bedroom would be nice too. But hey, it’s a simple hotel. You can get tea at the breakfast area at reception.
- No English TV channels
- I had a special request which I always state that I never want rooms where you can hear outside noise as I am light sleeper. We had a constant hum/buzz in this room throughout the night which turned out to be a massive external plant machine on the roof area over the corridor. I am assuming it was some sort of air con plant. As a consequence neither of us slept well. We also could hear some road noise. Its a shame but I will not return. On our previous visits in 2024 in the annex we had no noise. Dissapointing.

We stayed here before in Oct 2024 for two separate nights in the rear annex part and liked that. this time we were told we had received a free upgrade and stayed in the main building. The decor seemed a little better as was the bathroom and the room presented well - although could be made more light with improved colour choices of paint. The hotel is literally in the town centre so that was good. Reception staff friendly. Parking right outside in inside courtyard. TV good standard. room well priced.

Like close to good morrocan restaurant. Dislike no coffee in room, breakfast at 16 eu too expensive
Fantastic location for traveling too spain , lovely medieval town , good security for car , receptionist was really helpful, as we was traveling with a boxer dog!
Can't think of anything, great location great value , ?
The hotel is a beautiful old hostelry building in the centre of an historic medieval town, and close to the Loire. The bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly.
Nice building with interior parking. Nice rooms.
The breakfast was not extraordinary
Comveniently situated in the town centre and we were able to park in the hotel's courtyard. The room was a good size, with a large comfortable bed, and accessible by lift to the first floor, as well as quite quiet. At our request the duvet had been changed for a blanket. The breakfast included in our booking was varied and good. Although there was no restaurant we found a place to eat nearby.
We found the wifi complicated to log into. It is not secured, and since the signal was very poor and kept dropping we gave up on it.Although there was a coffee pod machine in the room, that is no good if you want tea or other hot drink.
Lovely refurb in the last few years. Comfortable beds. Good elevator access to our floor. Good (& free) secure parking. Lovely breakfast room and pretty good breakfast. Friendly staff. Big bathroom.
No hairdryer in the room - not a big deal
Our second time staying at this nice hotel. - Excellent location in Beaugency.- Rooms are nice and spacious.- Comfy bed.- Nice staff.- Good parking in the courtyard.- Hotel is a lovely old building next to a square and old church (which is now used as a gallery).
A couple of small issues this time.- Shower ran tepid after a few minutes, not so nice in colder weather.- WiFi did not work for some reason. Not a big deal, it's still a nice place to stay.
Room was smart and very clean as was toilet/shower room. Parking very good and like being sort of self-contained from the main hotel building. We were in the annex that looked like an old stable block. Pricing of room very competitive. Staff very friendly and helpful. WiFi available - if u login. The medieval town centre is great as is the proximity to the Loire river. I went for a run along the path adjacent the river and it was easy to get there on foot from the Hotel.
These are all very minor issues and nothing that would stop us using the Hotel again. Lighting a bit dim in room with just downlighters. No drinks making facilities in room. Swimming pool not in use as mid - October but no mention of this in advance. Should be explained on booking . com. We thought the 16 Euro cost for breakfast was too expensive for us personally so we didn't use this facility. Finally, the D road running parallel with the historic centre is an incredibly busy route as parallels the payage Autoroute. Noise not an issue but finding your way to the old quarter and the hotel can be a bit frightening - especially if you don't know the route. Common to any hotel access in the historic quarter of Beaugency.
The room is very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is okey but can be improved. There is not much options for people who cannot eat gluten.
It's a lovely place to stay in a beautiful town. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and comfortable - lots of lighting and storage options.
Nothing not to like!
Great hotel in a beautiful French town right in the heart of the city with restaurants and shops close buy. Excellent staff very friendly and a lovely breakfast Very good hotel in a stunning city
No issues
Good location in a lovely town, warm welcome and friendly, helpful staff, spacious bedroom and bathroom.
We couldn't get into a parking space in the courtyard as there were some poorly parked vehicles, (this was one criteria for choosing the hotel) so we had to park in the town. It might be helpful if there were defined parking bays.
The staff were very obliging and made our stay very enjoyable. The pool was in a good setting and we'll maintained. The hotel was set very centrally and the breakfast was exceptional.
The building is beautiful and well located in Beaugency for shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. The room was lovely and it was very quiet at night.
We had two rooms and one of the bathrooms needed a little maintenance.
Above all the politeness of the staff, welcoming, professional.
Perfect location. Staff is very nice and laid back. Nice pool.
Maybe roomsCould be refurbished soon. But perfect for a night.
