Fasthotel Orléans Nord Artenay

Hotel was closed and key left in a box that distributed the keyWe were cought an aware and could not find any where to eat apart from a foodvan in the village square,not very good.We assisted two other guests, One who could not locate where to put his key card to switch his roomlight on, it was dark.There are 2 hotels oon site and he got the wrong one, the whole area was dark.

Breakfast was good with friendly staff on hand

We were put in an old section of the hotel (they had a group in their newer building). Every time we had to open the door to our room it took at least 5 - 10 minutes to unlock and open the door. When we complained abt it next morning we were told that they were aware of the problem. That blows my mind. If you know there is this kind of problem then fix it !

The following night I stayed in an Ibis Budget hotel which was cheaper and better value for money.

Despite checking that the restaurant would be open on the evening of my arrival, no staff were present even though the restaurant lights were on. My bedroom was so close to a continuously noisy main road that I hardly slept all night.

Clean and spacious with a nice restaurant. Supermarket nearby too so great location to stock up for the rest of our journey home to UK.

Disappointing

On arrival we were shocked and surprised to find that the restaurant (and reception) were closed for the weekend of our stay. As we were to be driving all day, we decided to book the Fasthôtel because of the on-site restaurant and ease of eating on our arrival. Because of the remote location, there are no other restaurants in the area (only McDonalds that don’t do vegetarian options) (which I am) and the Intermarché was also closed by the time we arrived …. it was extremely disappointing that we weren’t made aware that the hotel facilities would be unavailable ….

No staff to greet us on arrival WiFi did not work in room Rooms were incredibly hot with no air or air con. Could not sleep and left early Advertised restaurant on site was no open for dinner and could not find anyone to speak to.Breakfast started at 7 on a Sunday we found out on arrival but we needed to leave before that but we had pre booked but we had no confirmation

Room was ok

Restaurant was closed, it seemed like a hotel (well) past its prime. The exterior seems faded and desolate.Not enough value for money.

Cheap room. On site EV charging. Free parking. The staff were really friendly. Near a supermarket.

There is not a playground as advertised. The rooms feel like dorm rooms in a hostel. I would not feel safe staying here if I was a female travelling alone.

good breakfast with decent coffee from machine, excellent location next to motorway, close carparking, good value restaurant for evening buffet meal

no ventilation in bedroom and it was stifling in the hot weather so we needed a fan; thin towels

No parking problems and video surveillance and closed gate during nights. Motel character that I am missing elsewhere. Dogs welcome

Value for money. Good breakfast, clean rooms. Having said that, you must be able to deal without air-conditioned room.

Location, there is not much going on in Artenay. To have a better choice of restaurants you better go to Orléans. The suburbs of Orléans already have lots of restaurants.Highlight of Artenay is the windmill. Even a walk in a park is not possible as there is no park there.

Clean Tidy Everything You Need

Good location, close to the A10. Comfortable bed. Excellent heating system. Large room.

Too close to a major road (not the A10) so very noisy all night. Austere to the point of Spartan. One ‘school type’ chair. Virtually no wall decorations (one Love You poster). No soft furnishings apart from the bed. The room and the hotel felt soulless. No staff anywhere.

Breakfast pricey for what was in offer. Reception closes early.

Booking in was a nightmare. Computer in dingy area hard to follow instructions.

Disappointing restaurant , limited menu , presented in cardboard boxes with wooden cutlery . Breakfast was an improvement

I arrived late because of a cancelled ferry crossing and the service could not have been better and the staff went out of their way to provide me with food and coffee. They were all friendly and eager to please. I could not fault them.
