Pros +
- Was by far the nicest place we stayed, of hotels in France. Seemed much more upscale then other Best Westerns we have stayed over the years in the US (where we are from). Super accommodating evening check on desk clerk. Helped us with a lot of questions we had about the area. Dont remember his name but he was there in the evenings!… Thank you
- Fairly modern hotel, centrally located.
- Centrally located (right next to town market), good quality room, friendly staff, gym and small pool on roof with nice view
Cons -
- The only thing is they are doing construction on the big “square” right in front of the hotel. No fault of the hotel, they have no control over city construction!
- Doesn't have parking. There is construction right in front of the hotel.
- Gym was missing weights, no free parking, accessing the hotel was complicated due to ongoing town construction

Terrible experience, terrible staff. We book a room that was not available at our arrival. The picture on booking.com does not match at all with the reality.
Have stayed here before and each time have enjoyed it. It's the staff that truly make this hotel great. Without exception they are all professional, helpful, happy. Both my safe and air con didn't work in my room so without hesitation, they changed my room and were very apologetic. The hotel has had a face lift to all areas and it has made it even better. The breakfast is plentiful with many options, all is very fresh and the lady looking after it all is very pleasant and engages with you. Thoroughly recommend any one staying here.
Unfortunately there are MAJOR road works going on outside and all around the hotel area making it a nightmare to get to. I would suggest checking with the hotel particularly if this is your first time visiting as they will be able to direct you to the best way in and parking.
- clean, comfortable, well located- good breakfast- very nice staff
- nothing!
A good hotel that was spacious and clean.
It’s currently in the middle of a building site.
My recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing. The ongoing construction work around the premises was not mentioned in advance, which led to a noisy and uncomfortable experience. Additionally, the parking situation was quite challenging, with no prior notice about the limited space available.Adding to the frustration, I found that my room was missing basic amenities like soap, which I had to request separately. To make matters worse, the receptionist was quite rude and unhelpful when I tried to address these issues.Overall, I was let down by the lack of communication and the inadequate service. I hope the management takes these issues seriously to improve the experience for future guests.
Great room good breakfast
After 2 weeks the money the reserved for my room is still reserved despite promise that they would release the money after check out and control of the roomThat is very bad service
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms are comfortable and offer great value for money. The hotel has a large outdoor and underground parking area, making it very convenient for guests with cars. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and efficient, making the check-in and check-out process smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and I would recommend this hotel to other travelers.
breakfast is very not the best, not a lots of choices and very basic food.. not impress.
There is a huge building work around the hotel making very difficult to be reach and some noise in the early morning, so if you wait for another 4 months things will get better.
Pleasant hotel near the town centre, though location was quiet. Decent sized room, nice shower, comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Helpful staff
Nothing I can think of.
The room was clean
The road in front of the hotel was under repair and it was so difficult to get access to the hotel by car. In addition, the parking was charged while it was said free parking when we booked the room.
Aubagne is a lovely small perched town near the hills described by Marcel Pagnol. The views all around are the essence of Provence
The large wrap around terrace on the top floor and the modern rooms with good beds. Also the friendly staff.
Loved the room and the view. Very nice thank you.
Payment for the booking was reserved on my bank account on 26 Nov and again 1 Dec which was processed on 5 Dec. This means that the money on hold from 26 Nov has not been released yet. Can you please release that funds back into my account?
Friendly staff, nice rooms, good breakfast with excellent fresh fruit salad, close to restaurants in town
Parking a few hundred yards away but safe. Price was higher than usual because of the Rugby World Cup (with a match in Marseille at that particular week-end).
Little gem in the city center! Top location! Helpful staff! Amazing terrace view!
Coffee can be much better :) Or at least don't call the "Americano" coffee!
Room was small but functional. Bathroom was uncomfortable to get in and out of bath tub to shower (too high). Disappointing that hotel bar does not offer any brand of Scotch whisky.. Only whisky available was Japanese.
Location was perfect for our needs (Argilla)
Central location, comfortable bed and pillows. Rooftop bar staff were great and helpful.
We don't understand how the hotel is classed 4 stars, it is rather a 3 stars. Rooms are small for a 4 stars, bathroom had some broken tiles, sound insulation was poor (could hear noise from the street with closed window). The hotel could use an overall good renovation. Lady in charge of the breakfast was too busy smoking outside while we waited. And when we chose the express breakfast formula she was telling us in a rude manner the items we were not allowed to take.
Location, roof top bar, room size
Could be noisy on market day
