A good location for us travelling south.

The hotel was very noisy. There were people shouting till very late and no one seemed to ask them to be quieter. This was bad for us as we had a long drive the next day.

We went in Feb, the rooms are perfectly clean (with lovely cleaning staff). The room is comfortable with a nicely upgraded bathroom. It’s a simple but nice hotel and the price matches the hotel standards.

Check in and out, there was no reception staff. We waited quite some time until finally someone came. Both times they are sitting outside smoking. I would recommend having a camera or bell which makes the customer not wait so long. Especially when checking out.

The food at the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced

bed was pretty hard, didn't sleep very well although it was very quiet around

We were given a handicapped room without our knowledge. So we accepted only the next day they asked to move to another room. Re had to repack everything. Not happy about that! Restaurant was very good though.

It was clean, and the room smelled good. The bathroom was clean, and so was the shower.

Quiet surrounding, abbey just a few minutes walk. The restaurant is excellent.

The hotel was superb. Located in quiet rural location with plenty of parking on site. The hotel was very clean and airy and also very relaxing in a great setting. There is an open terrace overlooking a beautiful lawned area and open woodlands. The room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. The hotel staff were very welcoming and did all they could to make our stay a pleasurable one. The restaurant was excellent and should not be missed. Our meal was outstanding and probably the best we have ever experienced. Top quality ingredients and cooked to total perfection matched by the service of the staff. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will return again. I would rate the hotel, restaurant and staff 10/10 on every aspect. Well done and thank you!!!

Great location and had a fabulous restaurant attached. Beds were very comfy and good shower and the breakfast was great. lots of choice. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Room was tiny but for one night was just the job.

But tatty outside, no English tv channels and no Wi-Fi. Staff hardly spoke any English so our complaints were not dealt with

Nice airy room leading out to the garden. Off street parking so good for parking the motorcycle. Hotel is set on the edge of the town. The abbey is a 10min walk from the hotel.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel and staff...excellent room and great staff...restaurant to be recommended. Outstanding food. We will definetely tell our friends and family....

Not much. I haven't gotten a vibe this bad from a place in a long time. It was the only place with an available room.

This place is dodgy looking. Rugs are threadbare and stained, the hallway walls looked like a crime scene. Rooms were spartan and remodeled by an amateur. The chair cushion was worn and gross looking. This place is way, way overpriced.
