Good location for our trip up from Burgos the room was comfortable and the restaurant good

Rubbish

The hotel was closed and we were the only ones staying, we picked the key up at the desk after giving details to get into the building plus the restaurant downstairs was not open so no food options.

Central location, attached restaurant, friendly staff and brilliant shower

Plumbing noise from other guests during the night. Slightly disappointed with breakfast after a really good dinner the previous evening

The room was adequate for a one night stay and the food good.

Difficulty in finding the hotel and more importantly finding a parking spot. The manager was uncommunicative but the rest of the staff were very helpful.

Dinner (scallops) gave me the shits and my friend's chicken was slightly undercooked.Host was kind enough to let us park in his barn, but neglected to mention we had to pay until the next day...ok.Room noisy and hot. There was a fan, but it was even louder than the traffic noise from the open window, so wasn't usedIt doesn't open until 17:30! If you don't know and arrive before you just have to wait.

Kindness of staff. Cleanliness. Comfort. Exceptional food.

Lack of secure parking.

Easy to get to off the A road south. Worth a walk around the village as there is a good amount of historic interest.Breakfast was self service with a good choice Restaurant was excellent for an evening meal - typically french and good quality with good service.

Clean but really it was the room that was the issue. Bed was low and basic.Bathroom also basic.Needs an upgrade.

Excellent breakfast with a great choice. much more to choose from than in most French hotels

We were badly held up by a cancelled Ferry crossing and didn't,t arrive until 22.45 to find the hotel locked. In fairness it only took a phone call for them to open up although we suspect they were in bed We appreciated the fact that they took the trouble to let us in

Room needed a refresh. Needed a bit of tlc.Couldn't get shower to work . Bath ok.

Superb choice at breakfast buffet. Really good quality restaurant at reasonable price. Location easy to find right at centre of town. Short walk to charming old part of town by the river. Handy location for travelling down central France.

Slight disturbance from night time traffic, as it is at main crossroad in town.

We have used La Barque several times and always enjoyed our stay. M Vincent has always welcomed us and was extremely helpful when we had a problem at the Supermarket with a payment at the petrol pump.

Restaurant was excellent. Good menu, we’ll prepared.

Room and facilities basic but adequate.

Well located for our cycling trip (on the Vélobuissonnière), very good dinner, very clean with good facilities, somewhere safe for our bikes (although we did have to pay €5) and excellent breakfast

Being on the main cross roads it was a bit noisy (we knew it would be) so we had to have the windows closed and the Patron was a bit gruff (initially) but he warmed to us and all the other staff were friendly and helpful

Not a lot. On the main road and as a consequence noisy. It could do modernisation and a lick of paint

See above. They had lost our booking.com reservation and had no knowledge of us when we arrived. Luckily they had another room to offer us. What’s the point of an email saying my booking is confirmed, if I can’t rely on it?

No private parking as advertised and no internet in part of dining room or my bedroom.

Nice restaurant and bar on the premises offering a wide choice at a very reasonable price.

The room was well appointed and comfortable though the decor was dated.
