I liked everything about the hotel and our room which was on the 3rd floor was very comfortable. Our very first two nights we were very cold because no one showed us how to turn on the heater. The breakfast was very good. The location is perfect being in the center of town. Their restaurant was good and very popular with local people as well.

I thought the ladies at the reception could be a bit friendlier and give arriving travelers a better welcome.

Not sure if you (Booking.com), read these notes but all I can do is try. The hotel staff were awesome and supportive as you (Booking) had failed to let them know we were booked to stay there. The hotel found us an alternative hotel for two nights and then had us stay at the original hotel for the last two nights. I send you (Booking ), two notes about this earlier in the week but have not received a response.

    It was quiet.

The bathroom smelled, the whole place felt shabby & the wifi kept cutting out.

The room was clean and the cleaning staff was friendly. That was the only good thing about the facility

The front desk staff was horrible. We arrived at 2 :15 PM after a long day of travel. Staff said we could not check in early. Come back at 3: pm. This was not unexpected. We were asked if we wanted to prepay for the Buffett breakfast. I asked if we could just decide in the morning as I was not sure if our young daughter would be awake between 8-10 after 20 hours on the road. They said that was fine but there might not be enough pastry. We said that was ok. They claim the hotel was fully booked and we had the last room in the hotel but we never did see another guest. Nothing in town was open on Sunday for food until after 7pm. Even the grocery stores were closed on Sunday. Not the hotels fault but travelers should be aware. There were 3 restaurants out of the 20 or so in the area that opened at 7 and none of them would let you eat without a reservation. Something for travelers to be aware of. Since we were unable to get lunch or dinner in town we decided to go down for breakfast at 9:15 am. The staff said they were closed and they would not give us food. When I asked why when they said they were fully booked and they specifically said we could decide in the morning they said no they would not serve us food. They were rude and followed us out of the hotel. We ended up finding a store a few blocks away that finally opened but limited inventory and fresh fruit was limited. The same rude staff checked us out and again stared at us as we walked out and down the street the 4 blocks where we had to park. The hotel has no parking and no loading areas to unload and load your luggage. If you choose to stay in this hell hole be prepared to walk and roll your luggage across the cobble stone sidewalks and streets. The place is almost double the cost of other hotels in the area. I hoped that it would be a nice place. Instead it was a complete disappointment and a total disaster. DO NOT STAY HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Breakfast and dinner were convenient and very good. Room windows opening to the view of the town was very nice.

    More time there.

Location and comfort of bed and cleanliness.

The room was small and described options for water and snacks but there were none to purchase. Only plastic cups and tap water.

    9RobertPosted on: 11-14-2024

Clean efficient reasonably friendly, although the restaurant staff are rude and there could be a 'no smiling' policy, although the owner was very friendly and the staff warmed up on the second day. Nevertheless the hotel staff were helpful,. Room etc. all as described.

    see above, relatively minor.

Breakfast has good selection if you arrive early, otherwise the supplies seem to run out eg yogurt, croissants

The room I had on this stay was at the back of the hotel and looked onto other buildings and had 4 air conditioning units outside the window. This meant I couldn’t open the window because the noise was too loud from the units.

    7SusanPosted on: 10-3-2024

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the restaurant was great

Rooms were very basic and a lot more effort could have been made in decoration

    7ChristopherPosted on: 9-29-2024

Interesting village with some nice restaurants and a historic basilica with its famous relic! The hotel was comfortable and the staff pleasant.

    8BarbPosted on: 9-28-2024

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and location was good.

    9HelenPosted on: 9-28-2024

Lovely welcome, very comfortable room and facilities, access to restaurant for evening meal and delightful small town.

The shower/bath towels were a little small for adults, we thought. Also, a very small bowlful of granola for everyone to share was strange. But these were tiny details and the overall experience was very positive.

    6MarcoPosted on: 9-14-2024

The location was perfect right in the middle of the city. The manager was uptight and obnoxious. The girl helping her was sweet and helpful.Try interacting with the latter person if possible, for a pleasant stay.

The bathtub/shower without a curtainThe room door really hard to closeAvoid the hotel restaurant or just order pizza

Central location, very clean and comfortable.Privilege room was very spacious for two adults and a child.Very good restaurant. ideal for visiting Mary Madeleine Basilica which is just a small walk away.Paid parking nearby, two hours free and free from 7pm to 9am, otherwise €2 per hour.

    Everything fine.

    5AminPosted on: 3-3-2024

Highlight is the breakfast. They have a patisserie in-house and make their own croissants. That made up for the rest! ?.The staff is nice and helpful. Very cheap public parking available around the corner (€2 a night)

Rooms are filthy / mound in the bathroom - areas not dusted properly

    4CatherinePosted on: 1-31-2024

    Quaint

Room too small. Bed too small. Bathroom small. Broken toilet seat. Very little room for toiletries. Only mirror was in bathroom where it got steamed up. Needed update.
