- I am not sure from where to start...Silvana was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. She was the person who welcome us, cooked for us and helped with all of our requests. The place was clean, well maintained and cozy ? The food was really nice! The breakfast- best omelet my fiance ever had and my traditional Bulgarian "French " toast was lovely too.We highly recommend to visit this place ?
- Nice architecture, comfortable and clean
- Everything was perfect. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and warm. The breakfast is prepared at the moment and the food in the restaurant is tasty. Family hotel's location is perfect for a day trips in the region.
Cons -
- Some of the facilities were compromised, broken mirror regal in the bathroom, unfit button for the WC
- Absolutely nothing - everything was perfect
- We choose to stay there for one night during our trip to Greece. Unfortunately the property is overated. At leat in our room there was no shower curtain and in general the bathroom was quite problematic. Two years ago we have decided to stay in Sandanski and it was a better choice. Also there are around 18 kms from the highway so the decison to stay there was no the best one (but this is no their fault, it is ours).

The hosts were friendly, the lady and her son. Breakfast and the dinner were OK.

Nice people, clean and quiet place. Great retreat. We would recommend.
Great hospitality and support from the host. She provided even medical pills that we needed due to a difficulty we had, after the communication with a local Medical Doctor.Fresh homemade food for breakfast and dinner. We bought very good local wine at reasonable price.

The property itself is beautiful.
Sorry to contradict some of the previous reviewers, but we did not find the place worthy. The property itself is lovely, but since it was very hot, it was suffocating in the room - which does not have aircon nor ventilator. The windows have no nets so when you open them to get some fresh air, you are attacked by various bugs (and they are plentiful). We asked the landlady, who does not speak a word of English, to find a ventilator for us, she became very irritated and basically shut off her flaps shouting something about booking, com. It was difficult to fall asleep and it took us a few hours until the outside air chilled a bit. I would definitely not recommend staying there during the hot summer days (and they are very hot). Regarding the bathroom, it is one of these places where there is no separation between the bath and the rest of the room, so a shower means the entire place is flooded. They did put the infrastructure for a separating curtain, but no curtain in sight. All in all, a real disappointment. Not recommended.
Safe place for motorbikes, helpful staff, wonderful dinner.
Great location, friendly and polite staff, really delicious food.
A good base to explore the local monastery and sandstone pyramids from. The local family are great and Svetwa in particular works very hard to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The house itself is lovely and food in the connected restaurant building is hearty and great value. You will probably need Google translate to make yourself understood (unless you speak Bulgarian) but that can be fun too! It would also be useful to see the words "Family Hotel Dinchova kushta" in English somewhere on the sign outside when you first arrive :-)
Internet was a bit hit and miss (router seems to need a regular reboot). A bell in reception would have been useful at times to help track down one of the family.
The kindness and attention of the hosts. The location and the property.
free parking, nice garden and terrace, traditional hotel not far from monastery. Kitten is nice for our kids, although it also jumps on your lap when you eat, which is a scare and less hygienic. Nice home made lemonade. Service: When we checked out and our car didn't start all day we got help from the waiter and his neighbour and the hotel offered us our room back in the afternoon to wait for our car to work, and called our rental company a few times. When our son was stuck in the toilet (didn't know how the lock works) the waiter immediately tried to break down the door with his shoulders to try to free him (!); had to hold him back from making unnecessary damage, as my son soon figured out how to operate the lock.
booked two different types of rooms, standard and deluxe, and sent a request to put them next to each other but only on arrival they turned out to be two standard rooms, the deluxe is upstairs and there weren't two of those next to each other. Switched to two Standards but did not get compensated for the difference. On the first day WiFi simply did not work, spent all evening trying to work. 2nd Day when I complained again about the wifi the modem was finally rebooted, then it worked well with good speed in the restaurant.
An absolute peaceful place, very well maintained, clean and cozy! The staff was amazing and the food - exceptional. It felt like home!
A lovely place, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and very good food in the restaurant. Our stay was really above expectations.
The property itself looked lovely. It was clean, very "ethnic", warm and the food was great. Very tasty. The area around the hotel was fantastic ... not in town, but on the edge of a small authentic village and very close to the monastery.
The reception was not welcoming. The room was poorly prepared. The bedding was stored in the wardrobe, so we had to look for it and sort it out. The lady on reception made it seem like too much effort for anything UNTIL we made a real effort to be super nice, when she thawed.
We would definitely visit this place again if we are visiting the region. The room was very warm and clean with an authentic atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and we received a compliment dish for dinner.
Great host, clean, cozy and great food.
Wonderful, traditional guesthouse, comfortable and very clean room, very nice and quite location and above all the hospitality of the owners, made us feel like home. Also delicious food at the restaurant (and breakfast). We will definitely come back.
