L'Escale Marine, The Originals Relais

The hotel is new and modern, well situated in the city center and close to the sea. it is run by a team of very young people, all kind and polite. Rooms are large, wifi works well; large parking. We had dinner at the hotel’s bistro named “No 34” - the waiter was very nice but the food was not fresh (and the fish was smelling), and all 3 courses were different of what we were supposed to get according to the menu. We were told the dishes were “reinterpreted” by the cook.

- The room was very cold when we arrived.. The staff started the heat and even gave us an electric heater, but it was still cold over the night.- Not enough light. - After I booked a room on Booking where my credit card was checked, I was approached on Whatsapp by someone who said they are writing on behalf of the hotel, and that my credit card did not work and sent me a link to check again my card. When I followed the link I was asked to pay an amount double than the cost of my room. I refused the payment and only then checked the phone number of that person, who was from the Check Republic! I informed the hotel that their database of clients was compromised but apparently they did not care. The second day I was approached by someone else “on behalf of the hotel”, but this time I checked the phone number and the person was from India!

We were meeting friends in Morgat who were staying elsewhere, so this hotel being very easy walking distance to the bar and restaurant area was ideally located. Car parking is easy in the adjoining car park. The breakfast was very good, with pretty much everything we could desire. We initially booked two nights, but extended it by another night as it worked so well for us. We would happily stay here again.

Nothing to dislike. It was exactly what we required for our stay.

The hotel itself and the room were nice, and the location was ideal for our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though they couldn't resolve the issues we faced. There is paid parking, but a convenient public car park is also nearby, which was a plus.

The air conditioning in the room didn’t work, and despite reporting it, nothing could be done during our stay. The room was unbearably hot, making it impossible to sleep. Additionally, the electrical outlets didn’t work, which added to our frustration. We also didn't receive any response after contacting the property for compensation, which was disappointing.

Very friendly and helpful staff always on hand. Clean rooms, close to beach and shops . Supper and breakfast were good.

The location was good in easy reach of the beach and town centre. The family room was immaculately clean. The staff were friendly.

While the room was as described, the family room, although consisting of two bedrooms was rather small. It was hard to find a place to put a suitcase. The balcony didn't have any furniture. There was nothing to hang up beach towels or wet clothes after a day on the beach. There was no fridge (which is ok as the description did not mention a fridge), but it was just another thing not practical for a family. Overall, while the room was as described, it did not feel very practical for a family in a beach town and we found the room a little overpriced.

Very modern and beautiful, everything was very clean. Great breakfast buffet, well worth the 15€!

Water pressure could be better

Quite a good hotel with new renovation, friendly and supportive staff and the cozy restaurant and the zone for entertainment, wide parking facilities. Good for staying for 2-3 nights.

The room was recently renovated. There's an elevator. Breakfast was quite decent with many options.

The hangers in the closet couldn't be removed and were too high to reach for me. Toilet is outside the bathroom. Hotel parking is not free but there's a free lot across the street.

A nice Hotel to stay at with a 1 minute walk to the sea front. Room was clean and comfy and ours had a balcony as well, there is also a gated car park right outside. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that as we went out for a walk and had something out by the harbour. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The private parking space next to the hotel is a real bonus.Very good location of the hotel, only 300 m from the beach/baie de Morgat, the shops, the restaurants...

We would have enjoyed a bigger choice in the restaurant but the food we ate was delicious.

Good location close to the beach and port. Modern equipment. Very tiny balcony to the back. Possibility to park for free close by on the commune parking space.

Very clean, great location, comfortable beds. We arrived late in the night, the receptionist was there to greet us. The bed was superb and room very clean. The hotel was decorated with a seaside theme, and the welcome area had free hot drinks and water. In the morning it had some free mini pastries. I would return in a heart beat. Well done hotel team, keep up the good work!

The room was very nice, location is also nearby many restaurant and the beach! On top of that the staff were very lovely and nice to us, giving us many recommendations

The location of the hotel is excellent, plenty of car parking, close to bars and restaurants. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean.

The breakfast was very repetitive and after 4 days we were longing for a change!

Meal in restaurant was very good, as was breakfast. Pleasant lounge area with refreshments available.
