    Pros +

    • Location
    • Cannot say enough about the kindness and hospitality from the staff here. We left something behind and they found it and mailed it all the way to USA for us. They were unbelievably friendly and I’m so grateful!
    • The staff were extremely helpful and polite.

    Cons -

    • Meals. Only good for fashion models on a diet. The most expensive meal of the whole holiday.
    • It was one of noisiest rooms I have ever spent the night in. Sadly, between a loud mechanical droning all night and the banging of early hours deliveries, we got very little sleep. We were forced to have the window open as there’s no air conditioning.
    • Tiny room, but efficiently designed.

Great location on the main semi- pedestrianised street right by the harbour. Friendly staff and a superb restaurant, especially for seafood.

Old style charm, well located, excellent restaurant.

    Tiny room, but efficiently designed.

    Next to the sea

It would have been easier with parking spaces opposite the hotel. However the parking was free.It may be difficult to find a space July and August

The location was perfect and we loved the sea views. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we had two excellent dinners in the attached restaurant.

I thought I had specifically booked single beds but that didn’t appear on their booking but they quickly separated the beds and made them up appropriately.

Friendly, helpful, vivacious young woman checking us in. Tea facilities in our room. A lift !!

Everything was fine - well, there was no coffee machine as advertised.

    10AndreaPosted on: 4-28-2024

Hotel was clean, well-located; the staff was friendly, helpful and kind. Breakfast was unbelievable: a bounty of delicious choices. And highly recommend the restaurant; dinner there was a delight.

Great harbourside location. Very friendly and welcoming staff, and comfortable room. Good restaurant for both dinner and breakfast.

The location on the main quai was exactly what we hoped for and enjoyed. It was October so we could also park the car there easily. We particularly enjoyed the high quality breakfasts. It was a real pleasure to sit in the restaurant from 0800 to 0900 and watch night become day while enjoying fruit, yoghurt, smoked salmon, eggs, cheese, croissants, cakes and coffee! All the hotel staff and the proprietor were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room at the back of the hotel was modern, clean and had all the amenities we wanted.

    Nothing to suggest

Ideal location. Staff was pleasant. Food in restaurant was good.

    10BarbaraPosted on: 9-6-2023

Everything! The staff were fabulous and so friendly. The food amazing. Fantastic location. The fact that there are no cars on the sea road blocking the view! Our dog was allowed to stay with us in our room!

    5ChiaraPosted on: 8-23-2023

    Restaurant was good

Our room was too small and there was a bad smell coming from the kitchen into the bathroom through the ventilation system.

    9LizPosted on: 7-24-2023

The position of this hotel could not have been better for us: in the middle of the street opposite the truly picturesque, historical harbour. The street itself is a mass of fantastic restaurants - and the restaurant in the hotel is superb. What more could one wish for? We had a small double room at the back; the building is old and I suspect all the rooms must be fairly small. Should we have asked for a room with a harbour view? I am not sure…as we were so very happy having a coffee/drink outside, alongside the harbour. The staff were charming. And many speak good English

The WiFi wasn’t perfect for us, but manageable

    9PascalPosted on: 6-29-2023

Staff bent backward to accommodate our bicycles (more bikes than expected).Lift.The view from the restaurant. (Excellent food)

Perfect location on the Quay. Has a quality feel about it, staff very friendly, and restaurant is really good

Room a little tight, no dedicated parking although 'public' parking just up the road.

The hotel is located right on the beach. We had a beautiful ocean. We were in walking distance of historical monuments and lovely restaurants. Dinner in the hotel dining room was delicious! The breakfast buffet was a great start to the day.
