Pros +
- Staff were friendly and the restaurant was very good.
- The bed was reasonably comfortable and the location was right downtown, close to shops and restaurants. The windows had old shutters so you could shut out the light since they didn’t have black out curtains.
- The breakfast was very good and the evening meal likewise. The service provided by the staff was good.
Cons -
- Seemed like it was a Restaurant that happened to have a Hotel. The Hotel could use a little TLC...and a small fridge in the rooms.
- The property is a bit rundown. The walls are very thin and you can hear all the other guests (including the screaming baby in the room next to me). The staff seemed busy and annoyed. No tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast doesn’t have any eggs or bacon, so no protein.
- The pillows!

Food
Small room and no parking
The staff where so helpful and the food was very very good The double steak burger was I think the best burger I have ever seen Beautiful place and staff really very nice
That I couldn't stay longer
Comfy bed. Friendly reception.
Poor bread at breakfast, ran out, waited 10mins to be replenished with a part baked loaf. So much nice bread in France but this was poor.
Cheerful reception . Excellent room . Helpful to our cycling group.
Nothing it was all good.
The host stayed there late and we could still get a (well deserved) beer after a bicycle ride of 600+ km. The room was good and we slept like ‘babies’

Comfortable hotel right in the centre of the town
Shower door needs replacing, very tight space.
The location.
Breakfast was poor. We arrived at 9.30am and many things had run out. On asking staff for some fruit and bread we were told we were ‘rather late’- but breakfast is served till 10am. So we weren’t late. The bedroom was small and airless. The decor was tired and the strip lighting in the bedroom was awful.
Great location. Simple, clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
As noted in previous reviews, our room was over a courtyard area that was somewhat noisy very early in the morning (5:30) with unloading of a vehicle. As hikers just passing through, we were only staying for the night so it wasn’t that big of a deal. More than one night could get annoying I would imagine.
Just what we wanted for a single night stay - easy to find, free parking right outside and right in the middle of town for easy access. Reception was very helpful, the room was comfy and functional but the absolute standout was the Chicken Tandoori served in the Hotel restaurant for dinner - it was excellent and if we could have had it again at breakfast the next morning we would have.
Location, easy parking across the road. Staff friendly. Had a meal at the restaurant which was okay.
Shower is very small. Mattress used, needs to be replaced. View from room is into back of building next door. Very basic accommodation. Corridor lights have to be constantly switched on as are on a short timer, otherwise very dark, no natural light.
Staff were very helpful on places to visit in the area. Room comfortable but shower not fully working. Great that restaurant open every evening, the only one in town.
Staff, location and environment.
Very clean but that was the best thing about the room. The staff was nice.
A pretty rudimentary old hotel with no amenities. Breakfast minimal, not worth it. The room had flimsy curtains and couldn't be darkened and the bed was uncomfortable, so I barely slept at all. I'm sorry to be negative but if sleeping well is the idea, this place may not work.
The position was in the centre
A noisy restaurant chimney was just in front of our room window, making the air very stinky. Moreover, during the night we couldn't sleep due to ten mosquitoes and the hot temperature in the room.
It is conveniently located at the village center with restaurants nearby. Also an easy access on foot to the historic part. The walk to the river is mostly flat and pleasant. The staff is very friendly and breakfast was nice with fresh products and delicious out of the oven croissants
the hotel is in the city center and has a great parking in front of it. the breakfast is really nice and the bedroom is comfortable
no lift. specifically for oldies could be quite hard carry the baggage 3 floors.
Nice staff, simple but fine room with a large bathroom with a bath
There were quite a few mosquitoes in the room. We spent half an hour hunting them so we could sleep.
