Pros +
- Genuinely a little gem of a place. It was actually right next to the sea, and our sea room view not only had a wonderful view of the waves, but was also surprisingly large with plenty of space. Easy, free parking, a lovely small sauna available and a steam room. And the seats outside right in front of the sea were great. The staff were very kind, and went out of their way to make sure we had a nice time, even opening up the bar earlier to make a latte for us (which is so hard to come by in France, it was truly appreciated). Would also really recommend trying the restaurant for dinner, every dish was lovely, and despite the reviews we actually didn't have a long wait at all for the dishes.
- Location was great. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
- The location is exceptional. The hotel was clean and modern, nicely decorated. The staff were all lovely.
Cons -
- We had a small issue with the showers from a temperature regulation and pressure perspective, but they were very apologetic and gave us a discount in the end, as well as told us it would have been repaired the next day, so good customer service. Speaking French though was necessary for a few staff members, others spoke perfect English.
- Ensuite bathroom was showing its age, but worked fine.
- Only criticism, and I'm being picky, was the shower, fixed overhead and not much power.

This hotel is not only situated in a magic place, with the sunrise as well as the sunset over the sea thanks to the beautifully curved coast line, turquoise waters scattered with rocks, lighthouses, seagulls, and even seals, but also a magic place itself with a wonderful, dedicated and super kind team, where everything is possible with a smile, a delicious restaurant and pastries, and a cosy room and beautiful decor. We had a fantastic stay at all levels. Thank you so much! The room was great, calm, very clean, with everything you could need, gigantic comfortable bed, little coffee corner, table and comfortable armchair, desk, wifi, windows that you can open, and a big fantastic shower. The food was amazing, amazing and triple amazing! Everything we tried at the restaurant as well as at the bar was incredibly delicious, and creative combinations. You can enjoy their delicacies on the terrace, right in front of the splashing sea, as well as inside behind panoramic windows.
We’ve stayed several times at this outstanding location. Our room was spotlessly clean, newly decorated and was well equipped. The view was superb and sunsets from the room were stunning. We enjoyed tasty meals and a first class, friendly service in the restaurant. We didn’t have breakfast there due to the cost. . The bar staff were polite and helpful. The coffee is excellent as is the wine. English was kindly spoken when I struggled a bit with my French.
There was a wedding on when we arrived. Despite arranging an arrival time between 3 and 4 pm, it was a bit disconcerting to be told at the door that the hotel was closed for the day. After explaining we had a reservation the receptionist on duty did let us in but we felt a bit in the way. She did however kindly help us by taking our suitcase to the room. It would be nice if a few more snacks were available in the bar.
Fantastic location with beautiful rooms right on the sea.
We saw a shark in the water while having breakfast
Amazing location tight on the rocky granite coast. coastal path and G45 cycling route pass right next to the hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Safe storage for our bicycles. We stayed here for 3 nights but would happily have stayed longer! iTs always difficult to find a pace to swim on thi cost but about two minutes walk (heading west) at low tide there is a safe place between the rocks. If in doubt follow the locals (which is what I did).
Zero! Nothing! Although it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room for our early morning tea. I solved this by going down to reception and collecting hot water and bringing up to the room.
Great location and seaviews. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
No working WiFi. Hotel about to be refurbished so decor, etc... a bit 'tired' just now.
The beds were really comfortable and large. The room was clean & had all that we required.
The room was just a little tired and in need of updating. We missed not having a view which we needed to go back into the Hotel for. (we had an apartment)
Wonderful location. Kind staff, providing right bed set-up and bike parking. Apartment with useful kitchenette and two bathrooms.
Breakfast expensive. Those in upper bunks complained.
Wonderful location, lovely atmosphere, great staff, good food. We enjoyed the comfort of the nice and big apartment with cooking facility, eating room, two baths, two separate sleeping rooms - we loved to stay there. ( We could not stop marveling about the idea that being located at the most stunning location directly at a nice serene beach that the architect ensured that all rooms in our apartment annex are orientated away from the beach front facing the lush green meadows of the countryside.
wonderful receptionist with impeccable English. Excellent room with a good view of the sea. Good breakfast. Excellent location.
Mould around shower. Some paint damage around room.
The hotel was conveniently located and the situation was lovely, very close to the beach. We had an amazing view!
Our room was very comfortable and a good size however our friends room was disappointing as there was a terrible smell in the room on entering. The breakfast was also very disappointing.
Beautiful location for this hotel and reception staff were helpful despite the badges for room access not working when we arrived
The breakfast was really poor and not at all how it is described on the site (no croissants/one type of bread/one type of cheese (emmental) which ran out quickly and was not restocked/weak cold coffee/no confiture/no eggs/no yogurts/no vegetarian or vegan options). The waitress in the bar and on breakfast service during our stay was clearly very unhappy in her job. Ive never seen a worse breakfast service in any hotel. In no way 3 star.
Location and view in both directions: sea and village.Bistro.
Parking along dusty roadWiFi too poor
Really nice decor and outdoor seating area
Everything! the staff is voung but very professional and lovely!
