    Pros +

    • The hotel is situated in a lovely location across a quiet road right on the beach. The common areas are charmingly decorated and comfortable. At check in you are welcomed with a complementary drink and the breakfast buffet was very good, focusing on local and organic products.
    • Breakfast was delicious. It could have been improved by some the inclusion of some fresh summer fruit.Dinners were delicious. Light summer cooking - mainly fish & veal.
    • Clean beach side hotel. Lovely helpful staff.

    Cons -

    • I found the room a bit small and was glad that we did not have large luggage. I had asked for a room with a terrace, which we got, but the terrace is not private ie. it is shared with a number of rooms with dividers in between. This may be on the website but I didn't notice it if it was. Given this, I found the room a bit pricey.

We asked and paid for seafront view but got a side view

The entrance and public area was very welcoming and appealing.A welcome drink was provided which was a very nice gesture . We had a choice of rooms and upgraded to a sea view. The bed was a small double but was comfortable .The staff were helpful and very pleasant.

The room, although upgraded was very small. The bathroom was so small it was difficult to use the toilet without hitting your chin on the wash basin. There were old cigarette butt's left on the balcony. The small. bottle of shower gel was half empty, presumably used by a previous guest and not replaced !!

The hotel layout in general and the spacious room in particular. The friendly welcome, free drink on arrival, and the excellent dinner.Excellent scrambled eggs and bacon at breakfast.

There was a continuous hum in the room overnight.A lack of milk and poor choice of cereals at breakfast

The room was not large but had a good terrace balcony with a sea view, as requested. The restaurant is very good. There are spacious lounge areas.

The parking is a little difficult at times, being on the road in front of the hotel, when it can become busy. We managed to find spaces, however. It's worth knowing that the restaurant is closed (or was when we stayed) on Monday and Tuesday, but there are good local restaurants, at least one in walking distance: probably best to book at busy periods, and the hotel did this for us.

Location was great, staff friendly and evening meal was lovely.

Breakfast was very limited, when we got down about 9am there was no eggs left, 2 slices of ham. The ham wasn't replaced but the eggs were. In my opinion not worth 15 euros each.

The staff were very helpful , especially in the restaurant and the quality of the food was excellent.

The only negative point was that there was a funny smell in the on-suit which I think could be a faulty extractor fan.

Excellent breakfasts and dinners. Chef really knows how to cook fish and vegetables

Great all round hotel, very clean room, friendly and accommodating staff who were always very helpful with any questions we had. Hotel is also located in an amazing location right next to the beach. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful hotel right on the seafront. The bar and restaurant were great too. However, the staff were exceptional. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

The staff is first class - very friendly, efficient and helpful. The location of the premises, overlooking the sea, is very good.

The rooms are very small; the sea-view balconies are very poor, with no privacy from each other; the breakfast was poor, and particularly miserable for any residents arriving at the breakfast-room after 9.00am. Also, at the time of our stay, there was reconstruction work in progress with noise from 7.00 each morning (no advance notice was given, nor any reduction in price of accommodation.

Lovely location, friendly staff, comfortable room, comfortable bar area.

    10RobertPosted on: 6-30-2024

The hotel was much better than we expected. Our room had a side view of the sea. With a very comfortable bed, well stocked and modern bathroom and lots of hot water. Everything thing was clean and the staff could not have been more helpful. The hotel is on the beach (you can hear the waves at high tide at night) but otherwise very quiet. We ate in the hotel at night with excellent local food and very attentive staff. We were cycling and they locked up our bikes over night.

    Nothing at all!!

Disappointed- lady on reception very helpful

Completely not what was expected- no restaurant on a Monday evening

    9GodfreyPosted on: 6-16-2024

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice from fruit juice to several types of bread , cereals, cheese and ham as well as scrambled eggs & bacon.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and the receptionists were very helpful giving us lots of advice to make our stay enjoyable. The meals were to a high standard with local fresh fish dishes

    9JeremyPosted on: 5-28-2024

The location, right on the beach, easy parking. Delicious evening meal in the restaurant.

Our room, though very clean and comfortable, was rather small. Our sea view was unfortunately obscured by scaffolding, but we were recompensed in the form of reductions of restaurant dining for the inconvenience. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
