    Pros +

    • Great Breakfast. beautiful view . Has a great pool and jaccuzi. The room with a balcony facing the sea is nice. There is a small beach nearby.
    • The location is beautiful probably the nicest placed hotel on the island. The pool is lovely and the general surroundings both inside and out are clean and tidy and very welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms although compact were clean and the bed was comfortable with good-quality linen. The shower was unusual but very good with lots of pressure. There are some really super restaurants and places for breakfast nearby.
    • Beatiful island, we liked everything and everyone was warm-hearted and friendly. The staff really wanted us to have a good time and couldn't do enough to help. Excellent food too. Wonderful holiday all round.

    Cons -

    • No elevator, long corridors and no help to carry your luggage. The size of the room (and of the bathroom) is very small, you cannot open a suitcase.
    • We only went to breakfast and dinner once and although it all looked very nice it was buffet style and all the dishes were covered in flies. Flies are about and cant be avoided but there were no coverings on any of the food or any methods to try and keep them away. Plates of cheese were literaly crawling in them and Im afraid we couldnt ignore them and just didn't eat there again. I commented to one of. the waiters and he just said they come in at this time of the year. The hotel has no lift and it's a steep walk up from the car park followed by three flights of stairs so its not suitable if you're not very fit.The rooms have no AC so get very hot and there is no fridge or drink making facilities which would be helpful as the hotel restaurant bar etc are closed all day on a Sunday so you can't even get a drink if you are in the lounge or by the pool on that day, which was very strange. There is no make up/shaving mirror in the bathroom so it it difficult to see.The staff accommodation is opposite the bedrooms on Sunday when they are off it is very noisy at night with loud music and talking until maybe 2am
    • Room could have tea and coffee making facilities.

Breakfast superb. (Expensive for a small eater. )Wonderful location and pool. Lovely swimming towels. Staff overall excellent. Vegetarian meals unexpectedly exciting, creative and tasty. Receptionists charming and helpful. Helped with luggage.

Limited wine list . Waiter, Leo, let down all the others- who were great, thoughtful and good at their jobs. More information on the hotel, the surroundings, maps, bus timetables etc. wifi etc. tourist info in all rooms needed. Housekeeping satisfactory but lacked finesse and was skimpy. E.g. topping up toilet paper, replacing all towels etc .

Incredible view. Great staff. Comfortable beds.

Terrible wifi and combined with a remote location meant you are offline much of the stay. No options for onsite food except for vegetarian restaurant. Would be nice for something to eat if you didn't want a 47 eur veg buffet.

One of the worse breakfast ever. Poor hygiene (e.g. fresh food let out without lead), flies all around, team professionally inadequate, no warm drink service...

    9MarkusPosted on: 7-15-2024

The hotel is lovely, the family room with sea view very nice and spacious. The location is perfect, close to beautiful, authentic Sauzon where you find nice restaurants. You can also eat in the hotel restaurant, which we also enjoyed. E-bikes can be rented at the hotel. Walking the old path connecting the beaches on the cliffs is fantastic.

    Airy and comfortable Beautiful view

Bedrooms a bit small Buffet very unimaginative I was expecting Dahl/risotto/ pasta / pies etc gnocchi were inedible

Location and setting small walk to fabulous restaurants

We made an error for not checking our booking with Booking.com and we did not realise that we need a ferry to get to the Hotel. The hotel was responsive to our phone calls and tried to help us with booking our car on the ferry which did not happen as the ferry was full for cars. We got on as foot passengers but the hotel refused to book as a taxi on the 4 calls we made. Suggest that when they except a booking they should ask have you booked your ferry.

Friendly staff, beautiful location, comfortable rooms and dog friendly.

Tea and coffee making facilities would have been great in the rooms.

The friendly of staff. Great service. The vegetarian buffet which was great value for money especially the oyster bar.

The lack of air both in the bedroom and restaurant. It was uncomfortable at times even though the temperature outside was not hot.

    Location and view

Internet was not good enough Limited Food and beverage choice in the evening but the town is really close so not a massive issue

    10DaniellaPosted on: 7-27-2023

Amazing location - couldn't ask for a more picturesque spot! There was an amazing pool and jacuzzi overlooking the sea and the restaurant served a fantastic breakfast.

Our room was very small, otherwise no complaints!

great location, great staff, great restaurant and facilities

no elevator in the hotel for strollers or wheel chairs

    view of the sea

no lift and needed to climb about 30 steps from the car park to reception then another 20 to get to the room.room was extremely compact and it was difficult to move around the bed.no air con, no tea/ coffee making equipment, no refrigerator

amazing location, some nice amenities in the hotel and a good breakfast buffet. good to have easy and free parking too!

some key things missing: A/C or fan, kettle, lift for step free access to the rooms or the car park) also a shame that we paid extra for a room with a balcony, but cheaper room are higher and have a better seaview.staff was nice but not very professional or good at explaining things (luggage left in the luggage room was not labelled or brought to the room)
