    • The location was ideal and cottage was perfect.
    • The property was excellent, but whilst booking it wasn’t clear as to how far it was from Calais, we booked the place for 4 days and unfortunately, we only got to spend 2 days, with a loses of 2 days, and for the 2 days my children were unable to use the swimming pool nor any activity areas, it was an absolute shambles.

    Cons -

    • The internet was a bit slow and lost connection late in the evening.
    • The internet was a bit slow and lost connection late in the evening.
    • The beds were without beds were absolutely disgusting, no clean sheets nor pillow covers were supplied, communication was very poor, staff were unable to speak the international language (English) it was like the resort was only for French spoken.

The location overlooking the lake was very tranquil. Our area was exceptionally green. Herons, egrets and storks

It would have been better to be able to load and unload the car at the cabin but not majorly inconvenient.

    A nice setting

Noisy by the swimming pool but the receptionist did warn us. The beds are really uncomfortable but it’s ok for a couple of nights. We couldn’t cook because the induction hob didn’t work. We did mention it to the reception but nobody came at the agreed time.

The property is excellent value for money. The lodges are basic but good and were well equipped. The pool area was clean and there were always enough lounges. The lake is lovely to walk round with an activity centre, playground and a restaurant over the other side. The town and a small village are within walking distance (30 minutes). Items from the local bakery can be ordered and collected from reception each day. It’s a small, quiet site but a very beautiful and enjoyable place to be.

We thought there was a snack bar/shop on site but there isn’t.

Lovely peaceful setting, lakeside walks, restaurant overlooking the lake served excellent food. Town was a walk away full of historic quaint shops/pubs and buildings.

    comfortable bed/mattress

    - no AC system, if its 40 deg outside it will be 45 inside! - staff mocks if you ask for AC and that it's hotel inside that outside "beh.. yes, it's hot outside so it's hot inside". incredible! - sheets?towel? any basics, not there you have to pay extra. - apartment is given with spiderwebs, and clogged drains, however they threaten that if not delivered fully cleaned on last day they charge you extra! - cannot drive your car to your bungalow. torrential rain? hail storm? 40degrees? injured?shopping? you have to walk all the way morning and night to a parking lot, even though the park is with 4meter wide tarmac roads.

Quiet as it was out of season

The office was closed and did not say to phone the emergency number to get the code for the safe to get our key. The secured parking was open as there was not a barrier. There was no wifi.We could not get our car to the cabin. The cabin next or had noisy neighbour which could have been avoided as the pl e was mostly empty.

Very quiet, clean and comfortable chalet with free parking included. Very close to Rochefort-En-Terre.

The description was a bit misleading - barbeque facilities are available but it is in a communal area. You also have to bring your own bedding and towels or there is an option to rent on the premises for an extra fee.

Beautiful location and very peaceful. Cabins spacious.

No washing machine available. Charge for pets a bit high when you bring two small dogs. Cancelled 2nd week because of this.

Nice location, by a lake, which takes 50 minutes to stroll around.Quiet (in April) and reasonable privacy from other cabins.Basic equipment only, and not much decor (no lamps, cushions, pictures), but everything is new/modern and worked - the hot water was hot/plentiful and the heating was efficient.

Minor points only. Not sure that I like the microwave placed so high, head height. Some large mugs would be useful. The grounds were overdue some maintenance, at the very least grass needed cutting and some weeds and nettles cut out.

It was comfy and clean and exactly what expected

The heaters weren't activated and the staff member the next day said that we needed to tell the staff member at check in to activate the heaters? Utterly ridiculous and nonsensical. Middle of winter and heaters wouldn't turn on and staff had gone home. Embarrassing and absolutely FREEZING all night

Very modern built.Clean and we'll maintained.

There is no way to cool the room, and it was 32 deg Celsius, so couldn't sleep.
