- We arrived very late but reception stayed open for us and served us drinks after a very harrowing journey. All the staff were friendly and we will definately stay here again.
- *I liked that Giovanni messaged me back that I could come earlier than check in time and leave my luggage securely until check in time.*Giovanni offered to order a taxi for me the next morning, which was helpful, so I didn't have to figure out how to communicate with the taxi company.*the patio outside my room was lovely, although weather was a bit too cool for me take advantage!*the location in relation to the city center was awesome! right across the street.*thanks to the daycare center staff member, Greta, who helped me locate and translated my request to a clergy at the church*the breakfast offerings were very good and open early enough for me to take part before getting off to my train*the staff in the restaurant and a patron having breakfast were instrumental in getting me a taxi in the morning as the one I thought was ordered did not come.

Cons -
- *wifi access was not given to me at check in, instead of my having to ask for it through a message*the taxi did not show up at 8 am as I thought I had arranged with Giovanni & there was no facility staff around to help with this in the morning.*the location from the train station turned out to be a bit long for me...and uphill, with no sidewalks or shoulder on much of the walk. If I'd known, I would have taxi'd to Albergo Roma.
- Poor breakfast, bathroom not in good conditions. A/C had to be requested to b turned on… The hotel is nice but it needs a lot of maintenance
- Our shower was not working , broken dials and no temperature control.Breakfast was very poor .We stayed for one night , when we returned from dinner we asked the bar for two espressos that we could enjoy on the front terrace , only to be told by the bar man that he had just cleaned the coffee machine, so no.. it was 9.30pm ! It's like they couldn't be bothered.I have worked in hospitality all my life and to make a coffee would have taken seconds .We

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was very helpful with information and arranging a taxi to train station. Location is across the street from market square and we took advantage of that. Room came with a large, second floor patio that we enjoyed. On main floor is a bar and a large patio; service excellent and prices very fair. Breakfast offered some protein - a thing rapidly disappearing from hotels as we learned in over four weeks of travel. However, there was good fruit, and as many coffee drinks as one wanted to make. We would stay again.
The room was big and airy very clean. The staff were polite , the position is brilliant, right in the centre of the town.,
Large room and bed
Air con poor and could do with a new coat of paint
Central, large room with balcony terrace. Clean & modern. Friendly staff and fantastic bar & restaurant
Location was very central and the rooms were clean and comfortable
Clean warm large spacious room and very comfortable
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to staff issues. However there are plenty of places to eat in borgotaro. We wish there had been a kettle in the bedroom for making tea/coffee.
The location was good very central.
No fridge in the room so hard to have cold water or any drinks
clean and convenient.
air con didn’t work, but you could open the door to the balcony.
The location is excellent, in the centre of Bolgo val Di taro. Staff were very friendly. The room was very big and clean.
The rooms were great size. Plenty of towels. The location was great for us and had everything we needed
Location of the hotel was perfect. Staff were helpful. Room was a good size and clean.
Breakfast was just about the minimum you might expect. There was no restaurant service during our stay which proved to be a problem on the Monday night as most of the restaurants in the town are not open Mondays.
The view from the terrace was perfect. Breakfast was great! The way Gianni made us feel like family helped us quickly adjust to Italy after a long flight! The cleanliness was top notch. The staff immediately responded to our requests. LOVED this place. Can’t wait to come back!
Did not want to leave...
Nice location in the village and clean room even if the interior decor seems a little hospital ish.
Very boring interior wise. It seems that someone renovated it just for use of blue collar people and for the sake of easy cleaning. We had breakfast in the backend of the restaurant instead of the bright sunny morninglight by the street.
The staff were amazing! They were incredibly friendly, accommodating and attentive. The room was a good size, the shower room was perfect and the balcony was huge. I will be back.
Friendly staff who organised early breakfast out of service hours
All very functional, no signe of care
Above all a good hotel, good breakfast and clean. Our room had a very big balcony and that was an extra bonus
