Clean, comfortable, great stuff, good breakfast, amazing views

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. Nice bathroom, heating if needed on cold nights. Lovely family run hotel who go the extra mile to try and accommodate guests with particular needs. Great breakfast. The location for exploring the Rodopi mountains is perfect.

Very friendly welcome. The room's air condition was already turned on when I arrived - a luxury not received in much more "fancier" places.The view, even from my "simple" room was outstanding. Sitting on the balcony or restaurant terrace is a treat.Good breakfast with lots of varietyOutstanding value for money. Maybe the best in my three weeks of motorcycle touring through southeast Europe.

The hotel is in the middle of mountains. The veiws from the hotel was impressive. The location of the hotel is fine, near some water sports and some facilities (although the 2 restaurants of the village close quite early)The size of the room was fine but a bit old fashioned

We didn't like much the service of the hotel. We went for a run and we got lost and we didn't have reception on our phones. We were trying for hours to find our way back, until we stopped a car and asked them to give us directions. We called the hotel to let them know that we got lost and that we were running late. We were a bit late for the check out (1 hour) and as soon as we got back the only thing the lady told us, it was that we need to pay an extra fee!!!

The only thing was the efficiency of the air-conditioning. It did not get cold enough.

The location of the hotel is great, overlooking the small village. I believe every room has a balcony with a view. It's very nice and peaceful. The room was large, plus it had a fireplace, which due to the season (March end) was cleaned up and without wood, however, I believe in the winter months it would be very cozy to sit in front of the fireplace. Make sure you have a program of activities planned beforehand as the village itself is very very quiet and small.

It had nothing to do with the hotel, but we were a bit worried about our options for dining in the village, as there is only one taverna restaurant and they don't have any fixed timetable for working hours. After talking with the staff member of the tavern we were told that they work depending on the clientele. So in case, there are no clients they might close early (5pm). And since this tavern was the only option in the village we were a bit worried that after a whole day of hiking we might end up without dinner. However, this didn't happen and we had a very lovely meal there. The portions were huge and the food was amazing. Just make sure the tavern is open and working before you book your stay in Paranesti village, as all the other villages are quite far away.
