Mario Complex

Clean and quiet room, in the very center of the town. The hotel is a small family owned facility, they have also a restaurant and a grocery shop. Historical surroundings, tasty food and good wine. The local wine has been notorious for centuries not only in the region, but also abroad, also in far countries.

For the hotel I have no reserves, but the town itself has to be better managed. Anyway, this is a question to the city administration, not to the hotel.

Perfect location, reasonable rates, available restaurant and a grocery store. Our room had a balcony with fabulous view of the town.

This apparently used to be an old home. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are even smaller. They have done a great job remodeling it

The airconditioning worked well.

I let the property know I would be arriving late. They did not provide any late arrival details. The hotel and its rooms were unlocked so I simply let myself intonthe hotel, chose an unlocked room and left the next morning without seeing anyone. There was some street noise.

We chose Mario complex for a second time for our stay in Melnik. The location is perfect, just in the heart of the town, but very peaceful, with a wonderful view. The rooms are extremely clean, cosy and new. The staff is really friendly, smiling, caring and polite, which matters a lot to feel like home and well welcomed. All the meals we tried in the pub were very tasty and home made. Moreover, there is a very well supplied mini market next to the entrance of the hotel, where you can buy whatever you miss and to store it in the fridge in the room if needed. We highly recommend Mario complex for your stay.

The best choice in Melnik. Very nice, clean hotel in the center of the village. The lady is marvelous., ready to help you anytime. The food at the restaurant was extremely beautiful. ( Don t forget to order onion rings). Strongly recommended.We will return....

Unfortunately...Only one night....

I have been there before. The lady in the reception is very helpful. It’s a peaceful and noiseless hotel. Great value for money

The location is great. It was nice that they offered breakfast to go before 7 a.m. as we needed to leave early. The home ade banitsa was very good. They had pre-heated the room which was nice. The hot water in the shower worked well. We liked the small couch to relax before going to sleep.

The windows didn't fully close so cold air was coming in (stayed mid December) and we needed to leave the air conditioning on for the night so it doesn't get too cold. That meant noise and dry air that was not ideal. The bed would be short for tall people and not super comfy. We found the pillows too high and hence uncomfortable.

Great stay- 10+++/ A+++ Great location with wonderful balcony. Parking directly next to property. Nice and quick check-in. Very clean and great wine. Great Wifi, heat and hot water.

No elevator.

The staff was not there. The bed for the third person was not prepared and the staff told us, that we have to make the coutch ourselves. The bathroom was very dirty. There was smell from the kitchen and cigarette smoke coming into our room. The coutch was full of stains.

Nice location, good breakfast, tasty Melnik wine.

The bed sheets were not changed for one bed in four. There was a musty smell in a room.

Disappointing

Received different room than orderedAfter the review with "8" score I received a message from the owner on booking that I am not ever again welcome in the hotel ... why? -> adjusted review on "4" score.

For this money room is fantastic. the staff is responsive and always ready to help. Hotel I about 150 m from wine museum

When I booked, I thought I was going to be on the main street but we were placed in a different location. The lobby smelled really bad.We were three and we only had two towels.

The placed was not dusted. It looked like only the bed sheets were changed.

The window is without the netting, When open the window, the insects will come in..Very poor soundproofing - can hear the other guests go to toilet or take shower.

Quiet place in a quiet village with tourist attractions.

The restaurant offered great food for cheap. The staff was amazing, very friendly and communicative. Our room was on the small side but it wasn't too cramped. Great location right in the center.

The room was clean

I was supposed to call someone to check me in and than to wait him come, but the most unpleasant thing was that I was moved to another hotel (part of their complex - in different location)
