Devin Spa Hotel

A really excellent hotel with everything you need. Large, clean and well furnished. Ground floor spa has three pools with mineral water. There might be some chlorine in the mineral water but it doesn't smell. Downstairs there is very nice sauna with relax area. Breakfast was excellent. There's no private parking. In front of the hotel there is free public parking, but you have to be lucky to find a place. The hotel is located in the center of the town, at the start of the pedestrian area. He would be happy to come back again.

The bed was a bit too hard for us, but its just our opinion, we are used to a soft bed.

They have shut down the thermal spa pool without any notice. There is no hotel parking. In the end of the day, there are better places for the price which is not cheap at all. I wll not visit again.

Disappointment. Checked in late to witness a loud wedding party at the hotel'a restaurant.Bathrobes were ragged. No kettle, no minibar. Not fair for the price at all.The main disappointment was that the next morning, only one small sauna was working.The main bug pool was closed (on a weekend), one sauna was closed and the steam bath was out of order. You can guess that people were coming and going out of the spa area as there were no place for more than 5 people.The hotel is outdated and needs a lot of innovation for this price.

The view from the balcony was beautiful. Staff is friendly and hardworking. Breakfast buffet was good (not exceptional).

The hotel is called "Devin Spa Hotel" but the "spa" was not acceptable. The "thermal pool" was probably 33 degrees, which made it uncomfortably cool. The jacuzzi was out of service. The "swimming pool" is not big enough for swimming - probably 12m x 8m. The steam bath was not hot. When we complained, the staff said there would be renovations in October. They knew about the issues but did not inform us about them when we booked the hotel and checked in. The bed was very firm/hard.

The spa zone is peaceful and clean.

The rest and relaxation of the guests was not a priority due to loud music and shouting from a private party at the restaurant of the hotel. There are ways if organising parties with music and dancing, and ensuring the wellbeing of the other guests who visited Devin to relax and get a good night’s rest.

The hotel location was perfect. We were there for a walking break and we were close to the trail heads. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

The hotel is a bit tired and the spa facilities need updating. We had 2 rooms neither of which had heating!! Not even towel rads came on. It would be great if more staff spoke basic English.

No English! We didn't have internet in our room. They can do a lot better with very little afort.
