Hotel Ihtiman is located on the 43rd mile of Trakia highway from Sofia towards Plovdiv and has 42 rooms and 2 suites located on 3 floors. The hotel is part of the Complex Ihtiman, which features a hotel, a self-service restaurant with a garden with breathtaking mountain views and a children's playground, a café-bar, a fashion outlet for clothes, shoes and accessories and a supermarket. For our customers we have a large private free parking for cars, busses and vehicles up to 3,5 tons, parking of trucks is strictly forbidden! The hotel offers a 24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi, family rooms and rooms for guests with special needs. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, central air conditioning, flat screen TV with cable channels, desk and sitting chair, wardrobe, water heaters, complimentary tea and mineral water. Each bathroom has a shower cabin and personal toiletries.

not a good smell
The room was of adequate size and had all necessities for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean tidy and in general good repair.A large shower made access and egress easy as did the wide doorway and lift.Reception staff were fantastic in our several contacts, always friendly and helpful.Though not necessary for our stay There was plenty of car parking available and the reception staff arranged for safe keeping of our tandem bicycle by prior request.

This was such a wonderful experience. I had traveled on my bicycle for a few months in Turkey and Georgia, and on my way back by bike to the Netherlands I had wildcamped for a week in Bulgaria. I came here expecting absolutely nothing for the price I had to pay. But it felt like I entered heaven on earth. Everything was basic but good. For the first time in 5 months I enjoyed a shower that wasn't falling off the wall, AND a little light next to my bed AND a room that was warm enough. The view was magnificent, and the woman working at the reception was very sweet. We communicated in French. The food was basic, but good enough. I will never forget this first night in a European hotel after having returned to Europe after more than half a year.
The climb from Ihtiman to the hotel by bicycle is a tough one, but certainly worth it.

Bathroom cleanliness and that was clogged shower drain
Great location close to the Sofia-Burgas highway, room's are great and bathroom also and A/C also great, we will for sure use this place again going down to Varna.......
Bed's could be nice with a top-madras, and TV in room a bit bigger especially when we need to see euro2020, maybe put up a 55" TV in the Lobby instead of a piano ? also night staff should be a bit more welcoming (smile and ask how was your trip, nice to see you..bla..bla....but nothing stone face)
