    Pros +

    • Central location easy walk to train station.
    • Spotlessly clean. Exceptionally caring and attentive staff throughout the whole stay. Lovely breakfast with plenty of options. Small details showing lots of care and love put into the room. On-site restaurant for Christmas lunch was a fantastic and memorable experience.
    • Staff was very friendly and helpful, and having parking on site was appreciated. The breakfast was good, and though few staff spoke English, they were all helpful and managed to speak well enough for us to communicate. Hotel has an 'old time class' to it, which I liked.

    Cons -

    • Annex building was not connected to the hotel. The plus was elevator and modern furnishings.
    • The single-use disposable plastic bottles of shampoo and lotion are not eco-friendly and are less convenient to use; we suggest large refillable bottles or a dispenser which is refilled by housekeeping (and will cost less in the long term!). The pillows could be more supportive (but this is subjective).
    • The room’s balcony was connected to the main hallway leading to other rooms, meaning that guests, staff, or other visitors could easily access our balcony. There was no separation, which made us uncomfortable in the evening. The room was hot, and we wanted to open the windows, but the lack of privacy due to the shared balcony left us uneasy about doing so.

This is not a luxury hotel, but it has a charming, old-style vibe that I really liked. It’s clean and simple, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. The highlight of this hotel was definitely the breakfast. I’ve traveled in Italy quite a bit, and I’m used to breakfast offerings that are mostly sweets. However, I prefer starting my day with something savory, like scrambled eggs and bread. This hotel offered a small buffet with a balanced selection of both sweet and savory options, and it was just perfect. The French toast was especially outstanding!Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the train station and the city center, making it easy to walk around and explore.

This is not the smartest, most modern high end place but for the price it is great value for money. Better value than many much more expensive places. Friendly staff, quiet room with air con.

Lovely sunny room and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was very good, though fruit and muesli would have been made it even better.

My wife thought it a bit noisy, but it was better than I would expect in a city.

Good for the shops and restaurants.

We had to walk around the corner for breakfast. No problem as it was fine weather.

    Location Friendly team

Bathroom in particular bath little battered

Very well-situated in bustling central area of town. We were in the "Re di Sole" suites which are round the corner, not far from the main hotel. Decor and fittings were very traditional, but the refrigerator was a welcome bonus as it was not in the room description. WiFi was excellent via an in-room modem. Breakfast was OK.

The first night was a room in the Residence: very nice & great location

The next 2 nights were in the older part of the hotel: lots of noise from the street outside until late (can’t blame the hotel). But the shower head was terrible.

The rooms are modern, clean and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and has a large variety of food and drinks. The check-in was easy and uncomplicated. In general the staff was really friendly and helpfully. I felt really comfortable and relaxed during the stay in the Hotel Regina. My colleagues with who I was travelling, told me the same.

Well placed…do cross the main road i to the old town.

the route to the parking was confusing for this challenged traveller

Breakfast was good.the restaurant though was very good. Food and service were great.

The car park was a little difficult to find but not really an issue

    8JosPosted on: 6-3-2023

The restaurant was very good !The historic center was very close

The terrace was also used to collect the dirty laundry. A small table would be nice to put your glas and bottle on. The chairs on the terrace were in a displorable state.

The location is great, with super spacious room and comfortable bed. The restaurant Regina next to it is also very good! I quite enjoyed my dinner there. I believe they have two buildings, and I stayed in the old one. My room also had a cute balcony to the street.

The bathroom was pretty and with a bathtub. The only issue was that the shower head could not be placed straight. But other than that, it was perfect.

Nice breakfast. Great location. The lady serving breakfast was really lovely and kind

Quite basic facilities for the price. The room got incredibly warm during the night and the temperature could not be regulated.

The ownermanager was fantastic. He went out of his way to help us. We could not find the hotel (not helped by road closures) but he came out on his motorbike to find us and lead us to the hotel. He also helped us squeeze our car into the tght car park (and out again in the morning). Very nice hotel near the sea front. Excellent breakfast.

    Nothing!

I stayed in the residence. Modern room, very clean and confortable. Great location near the centre. Breakfast was good. Excellent value for money!

The hotel is very pretty and authentic, housed in a historical building typical of Piedmontese towns. The very central location and vicinity to bars, cafes and supermarkets add to the hotel's charm. The room was bigger than I thought, and I particularly liked the quaint separate washing basin with big framed mirror... it looked like a theatre dressing room.I had dinner in the hotel restaurant and, dining on my own, I was taken care of and pampered with the utmost care and discretion.

The showers are quite old fashioned.

The people were extremely nice. Nice touches such as water & tea in the room. We also had bicycles that needed a place to stay for an extra day and they were very accommodating.
