Stella Mare Eco Boutique House

This was really one of our highlights traveling all over Croatia. The hosts were so welcoming, the food was excellent, and the views were perfect. I only wish we had stayed longer.

The family that runs this place are absolutely the best! Friendly pickup from the port. Beautiful property, room and the pool area is something to behold. Home cooked meals and did I mention the pool? This place is a little piece of paradise. We will definitely be coming back.

There is nothing negative to say. The only thing of note is it’s distance from Hvar Port. Just be aware that taxis are not cheap. The family will pick you up and their charge is cheaper than a taxi.

Beautiful views and garden. Staff was amazing and very attentive. The area was gorgeous with a few nice beaches at a walkable distance.

REAL 5 minute walk to the beach!!! The swimming pool inside the hotel is fantastic too! The staffs are nice and helpful as well.

The property is family owned and they treat all their guests as family. Rooms are spacious and super clean . The location was ideal for me . The beach was just steps from the property. The breakfast was really good. They produce their own olive oil and wine which was impressive. Matteo was so attentive and met all our needs .

Nothing to dislike

We had an amazing time here at Stella Mare! The food was exceptionally good (try their seafood pasta & grilled fish, you wont regret it!), the boutique is beauuuutiful, the staff was very friendly & would go above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. Most importantly the hospitality of Teo, Matteo (& his lovely wife) made our stay so special! You wont find a better host anywhere else. We definitely will be staying here again if we come back to Hvar! Oh and we got a free upgrade to a bigger appartement on the top floor. The seaview from the balcony there is magical! Very appreciated ♡

It was the rest and relaxation portion of our trip and was perfect for that. Plus wonderful food, wine and ambiance.

We absolutely loved the location of this property. Their restaurant was also superb, as they cooked homemade meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. Close to the beach, and far from the big city for a relaxing vacation.

Absolutely nothing

Everything but especially the warmth of the owners of this family run hotel. The gardens are very fragrant with lavender and roses. The restaurant romantic in the evening with the sunset.

The property is eco friendly and super clean! The staff was extremely accommodating and breakfast was amazing!

There is nothing that I didn’t like about the property.

This is an absolute gem in the small village of Zavala. A small boutique hotel, run by a warm, lovely family, serving delicious food, catering to your requests and amazing high standard rooms. We will be back!

The pool and view from the pool is absolutely beautiful. The owner is also such a pleasant man who came to speak to us every day. You feel like you are hosted in their home and the food is spectacular.

It’s slightly remote but we loved that about it. Enough bars and food to wander up and down the coast to.

We stayed 4 nights there. It's a quiet place on Hvar with a scenic view on sea and islands... Nice staff and accommodation, would go back anytime without any hesitation!

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by welcoming and friendly hosts to the moment we left everything was just wonderful.The hotel is small enough to feel personal , its calm, stylish and comfortable.Everything was clean and fresh.Our top floor room was delightful, large and roomy with a kitchenette, lounge area and bathroom. The view of the sea and across to the islands from the balcony was just great.The aircon worked well ( as did everything )The beds were comfy.Parking was within the hotel grounds.The infinity pool was dreamy. Such a wonderful place to swim and relax and admire the beautiful terracing of olives and lavender and the sea.Breakfast was fresh and plentiful.A short walk down the path led to the sea with a path along the coast going past several beach bars and restaurants.

Everything! This property and its staff are absolutely amazing! We had the absolute best time and will definitely come back! The resort is amazing, food amazing, and we felt so loved and taken care of! Best place ever!

Everything was perfect! The Stella Mare is essentially a "villa" with few - but well furnished - apartments run by a very lovely family.The owners and the staff make sure you feel like at your own home: for us it worked!!!We spent only 2 days in this amazing and quite place, where we found the right relax for the end of our holidays.The swimming pool and the restaurant are simply amazing and both of them have a "wooooow" view.

The swimming pool was super good, we ended up spending most of our time there.The Villa is located in a quite isolated area of the island (c. 40 mins from Hvar), which allows for a relaxing stay. Very close to a few beaches.The restaurant was really good, although there were not many options. The owners were very kind and friendly.

Nothing major. The street to reach the Villa from Stari Grad is not really super easy, but it's worth it.

A beatiful villa, run by a lovely and very welcoming family. The place was so well looked after and a very traquil place to relax. It was clean throughout with a lovely pool area which had great views. The food also was great and we would highly recommend to anyone. Its made us want to come back.
