- Beautiful historic building in a great location. Generous, well appointed room with a nice balcony overlooking the garden and pool. The pool area was lovely and peaceful, enhanced by the frequent ringing of the bells of the church next door.Nice breakfast and dinner menu.
- Stunning property, lavish breakfast spread with additions made to order, beautiful garden, in a wonderful, quiet village.
- Such a beautiful town and such a beautiful hotel. Staff were so friendly, easy going and accommodating. Location was very relaxing away from the busy crowds of the places we had been previously.
Cons -
- I think continuous bland pop music being played in the pool and restaurant area detracted from the atmosphere. It wasn't loud but it was a bit distracting and did not fit with the setting.I found the attitude of one of the waiters in the restaurant a bit unpleasant - I asked for some extra crackers and instead of 'certainly madam' the response was 'I have already given you extra'. An unnecessarily rude response to a simple request for a very inexpensive item to accompany my avocado tartare!
- AC in room did not work well. It was covered by a bracket that we ended up removing entirely, which solved the problem.
- Bells very noisy kept us awake.

Lovely clean room, very friendly staff. Beautiful building and gardens.
Bells very noisy kept us awake.
Great historic hotel with fantastic staff.
Only downside was a mistake at check out when they mixed up my bill which resulted in an over payment. I discovered the error in the car and they were very apologetic and fixed it. So even that was handled extremely well. Good lesson, scrutinize your bill.
Beautiful 15th Century Palace, unique features, all mod cons. Very elegant with garden to eat out in full of herbs, pomegranate and olive trees.
Our second time staying here. Last time in spring a couple of years back, this time late summer.Just as good this time, which is to say: borderline perfection.Incredible serene place to stay. Beautiful centuries-old building, wonderfully renovated and tastefully furnished. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout the place, making it a great place to lounge around in, even if you don't go wandering in Brac. The most welcoming staff. Not obsequious, just helpful, friendly and occasionally funny, and always on hand.A delightful outside eating space for evening dinner. Under a tree canopy with lighting suspended from its branches. And a genuinely excellent restaurant. Not a hugely varied menu, but lots of fish options (mainly caught that day), some veggie, and everthing is cooked wonderfully. Tuna lightly seared *just* right, seabass perfectly grilled, a risotto that was to die for.The pool is lovely - although it's a natural sun-trap, it's also (mildly) heated, with about dozen loungers and shades. The walk to it is through a pristine green lawn.
The neighbouring church can be enthusiastically loud when ringing its bells. There's short and sweet chimes on the hour all night, and also some longer & louder peals to annouce services e.g. at 7.30pm.
Beautiful hotel in a restored 16th century Palace with lovely views overlooking the harbour of the little town. Very comfortable and stylish room. Breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful old room. Fresh fruit provided on arrival. Lovely terrace and pool area and lounge inside.
A minor point but it would have been great to have a coffee machine provided, or at least for the kettle in the room to be connected to a socket on the desk. I had to find a socket near the floor to plug it in to boil the kettle. But otherwise a lovely and very comfortable room.
Loved this hotel. Beautifully designed and decorated, all staff were lovely and helpful (particularly Dea), great food for both breakfast and dinner. Pucisca is a lovely small town. With Brac island as small as it is, it’s easy to get anywhere by car or bike.
We had a really nice and spacious room, a large comfortable bed, nice spacious wardrobe for all kinds of clothes. The bathroom was amazing. It was a nice shower! The staff was lovely, kind, and friendly. They were all young, so it was good fun. Breakfast was nice! Buffet was not that big as some might expect, but it had plenty of choices, and you were able to order eggs made for you in any way possible with various combinations (i.e., Ham, salmon, vegetables, etc.)Eggs Benedict were amazing! :) Also, you can order pancakes, the staff is making you coffee. It was cozy, like you're at home. Unfortunately, the weather didn't serve us that much. We were not able to spend much time at the pool, but the garden and whole yard was really beautiful. Heritage in its finest! The location of the hotel is perfect, I mean, Pučišća is small and the hotel is located at the very center.
If you are a sensitive sleeper, the hotel is next to the Church sooo, think twice before booking because Church bells are pretty loud.
Beautiful property. Landscape and gardens and pool were excellent
The drive into it was long and difficult because of narrow and winding roads close to the edge of cliffs. Because of this everything was at least 30 minutes drive and didn’t want to drive when dark which limited our time in other towns such as Bol.
My partner and I booked this hotel for 4 nights as a treat for my birthday whilst we were on Brac and they were super helpful and could not do enough to ensure that my birthday with them was a special occasion. He worked with them to organise flowers and wine to be in the room on our arrival, we had dinner there on the night of my birthday (their food is sublime) and there was a suprise cake and the staff sang Happy Birthday. This is a small hotel so you really do get the personal experience, all of the staff were super friendly and helpful in terms of not just our stay there but the local area; breakfast is an amazing array of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, sweet treats and you can order eggs or pancakes. The hotel itself is pristine and the gardens and the deck and the pool are all just so pretty. If we are in the area again we would absolutely return to this hotel. Thank you for making our stay with you so special
There wasn't anything about this hotel that we didn't like.
Small, comfortable, good facilities, tasty breakfast and great staff.
One of our rooms smelled of drains.
Loved the location. Staff were fabulous, couldn’t do enough to be helpful. The setting was so relaxing and the garden dining very romantic. Food excellent all around but breakfast buffet table was unbelievable in terms of choices.
Can’t think of anything to suggest
This is a total gem of a hotel. Cool, calming rooms, beautiful pool area, great food and staff were so welcoming and lovely.
The only negative is the bell tower next door - which is especially loud on a Sunday morning. But worth putting up with for the beautiful setting.
EVERYTHING! The facilities are beautiful and so well done in the restoration work. The staff is even better (if that is possible)…. They really really care about the guest. They spend time getting to know you and don’t hesitate to go above and beyond to make your vacation the best it can be. The location is perfect! The breakfast is fantastic! The restaurant is delicious and the wellness room is a dream!
We loved it all!
A splendid stay in a very quiet place in the middle of the island. The port was wonderful to walk around in the evening.
Perfectly situated in the heart of the town with a beautiful pool and exceptional staff
Can’t fault it
Great service, one of the best (if not the best) location on the island. The breakfast was low hands one of the best I have ever had in a Hotel.
The property is close to the church of the village, which give a magical touch and add to the atmosphere of the place, but doesn’t help if you want to sleep since the bell starts ringing at 6am and stop at midnight
Staff was incredible, helpful, kind and went out of there way to make us comfortable. The location was exceptional, the rooms very large for Europe. We easily could walk to the many small beaches. The restaurant was delicious and the breakfast quite varied and satisfying.
There were no screens in the windows and It would have been nice to open the windows without concern for any flys etc. (few). Also, there was an odor in our room that was gone once we opened the windows.
