Albergo Diffuso Amatrice

Thanks god I book it for one night only

The room smelled of cigarettes as non-smokers it was unbearable, we asked for another room so they sent us the cleaner who used a toilet air purifier. The hosts do not speak English and did not try to meet us. It was a nightmare, we left with a headache and the stench of cigarettes

Nice breakfast, took individual coffee orders and had a good mix of things to eat. Nice, helpful staff. This is newly built and everything felt very modern. Could park my motorcycle within the gate.

Quite a bit from Amatrice if you want to have dinner there in the evening.

Middle of nature, mountains view, jacuzzi, unbelievably rich and home made breakfast, amazing hosts, easy to reach from Amatrice (couple of kilometers), enormously big new shower and bathroom, extremely comfortable bed. The host was so nice that he came an hour before official check in to let me in. I will return for sure! Also it is insanely small price for the quality, concept and the value they offer!

A little bit noisy from the other rooms

Valerio was waiting for us when we arrived. we were allocated with a room with a small enclosed garden as we were traveling with our dog. room size was comfortable for us. clean and spacious and bathroom was big. we book the room with half board service. breakfast was good with cold cuts,crossiants and cakes. dinner was super. Quality and quantity.this is our first visit ti Amatrice after the earthquake. very sad indeed as town of Amatrice is completely gone. Beautiful place to visit. People are friendly and food was good. Valerio and his family were great running the business.Highly recommend for those visiting the area. there us alot to offer and visit too.

Waste of money and time

The "deluxe" room had no A/c, no windows and shower that was faulty The room was hot, a small skylight in the roof was only natural light.. No vending machines or means of obtaining any refreshment.

New buildings and clean cozy rooms, great breakfast. Nice view for apartments on east side

Not at walking distance from city center

For someone who lost all they had in an earthquake that almost killed their family too, what they have done at Albergo Diffuso is absolutely astonishing. And they deserve all the help and custom anyone can bring them. Do go and visit. And you will taste two of the most amazing dishes in Italian cuisine: Spaghetti alla Amatriciana and Gricia. Worth the trip by themselves.

It was the only hotel available within 1 hour drive at a relatively last minute.Breakfast was nice, room is large and clean.

Part time hotel with check-in at 4pm and checkout at 10am and no staff between those times.Pictures are deceiving as my room was facing a road and a construction site, meaning I couldn't leave the window open to aerate while away, and no mosquito nets, so windows closed at night too. Generally speaking if this was between 60 and 70 euros per night It would be a great stay as the room is large and tidy, but for 120 euros i expect ways better (and in fact I found much better the night before and the night after at short distance)

Staff was friendly, rooms were cleaned everyday, breakfast was very good and plenty of "salty" options available which is not common in many Italian accommodations of this type. Location was fine, a newly built area outside of the old Town which has been tragically destroyed by the earthquake. If you are planning to stay in this area and you love doing hikes (which I warmly recommend, because this part of italy needs us visitors) stay here!

Nothing really, the only advice I would give is to change the 2 lights next to the bed. The color is cold, extremely bright and not cozy when you are using them in bed for example as a relaxed reading lamp. Better use soft warm light or even better something to dim.

Brand new immaculate accomodation, great breakfast. Shower was great after a day outdoor and friendly staff. Would recommend.
