- Excellent location to explore the mountains and local towns. Very friendly welcome, they arranged a hiking map for us when we arrived, and excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend as a place to relax and explore the region. Excellent value for money. 5 minute drive to Amatrice for shops and restaurants.
Cons -
- Spotlessly clean. Well designed and comfortable.
- The walls do allow noise through but the setting is very peaceful so unlikely to attract loud guests
- The showers don't stay warm for long, and that's the only point of criticism.

fantastic host who drives us to a restaurant since we were hikers (location had in close distance no possibility for food)perfect room and fantastic breakfastsuper place - thanks
I loved the place: clean, nice and well located in the beautiful countryside. close to many hiking option and to the new great Amatrice restaurants. The staff was super and provided a very nice breakfast
Beautiful location, Francesca and her staff are very friendly and professional..The room was spotlessly clean.

Very nice, new build bungalows. Comfortable. The staff is really friendly. The breakfast can be chosen from a menu and one can avoid the typical super sweet breakfast. Amazing stay!
Always a warm welcome and spotlessly clean, breakfast served in your room after you select from a vast menu, host always ready to help?
All is perfect
Our room was quiet and clean. Our host Francesca was gracious and helpful, offering us a goodRecommendation for dinner in Amatrice. Breakfast was fresh and healthy.
Not a lot I can add to the other reviews. After many nights in rooms where I was quite disappointed, this was finally a great room again. Shampoo in a tiny bottle, a shower rack, an absolutely clean shower. Soap from a soap dispenser... All the little things you come to miss on a vacation. It felt more like staying a night at home than being in a room where a different stranger sleeps every night. And on top of that a very nice host.
This property was clean, new and updated, had a FANTASTIC breakfast, a nice selection of teas to make in the room and free water bottles. During COVID, the breakfast that is brought to your room is usually bad, but at Borgo Retrosi di Amatrice, they brought us a delicious high quality breakfast to the room that made my day!!
It’s a little expensive.
Hosts were so helpful and very accommodating with our last minute booking!Apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Very warm and comfortable! Thanks so much for having us! ?
Perfect place to stay for hiking in the area, helpful and welcoming staff.
