Amazing views

The hotel reception, bar and kitchen were completely shut for the duration of our stay. No facilities were available to use so not good value for money. Outside decking area shut off and looked very scruffy.

breakfast a bit minimal in variety no eggs , excellent croissants , jams were home made but unusual flavours no standard muesli offered . Evening service in restaurant was very slow one evening , a 70min wait to get our starters and then another 20 for the entrees , but the other evening the meal service was very efficient

Restaurant was expensive

Absolutely nothing - Hotel was closed on arrival. After travelling hundreds of miles we arrived to find the place closed up. Both the hotel and restaurant were closed with notices posted on the windows.

The Hotel and restaurant were closed on arrival and appeared to have no other guests staying. Small notes had been placed on both windows. A neighbour helped us translate the notes and confirmed the establishment was closed. We had to drive round to find other accommodation. When we complained, the Hotel stated that they closed the reception at 8.30pm - incorrect as we arrived well before this time and we have made them aware of this fact. They state that we never arrived at the Hotel and hence have refused to pay back the cost which was pre- paid. We have pointed out to them that we would not have been aware both establishments were closed had we not arrived and provided the evidence of the neighbour but they are still adamant we did not arrive and have kept the payment. This was mid June on a Saturday evening. Previous feedback shows this has happened before. Booking.com were provided with all evidence and failed to assist successfully.

Pleasant

Breakfast was quite disappointing, being in France, we were hoping to have bread and "viennoiseries"fresh from a bakery, but everything was industrial and the choice was limited.

Nice owner :) even though there was a lockdown, we got a very warm welcoming. He offered us to get pizza, they delivered great wine to our room and next morning amazing breakfast. Very nice shower, great view from the rooms and I bet in summer that terrace must be amazing. We'll be back!
