    Pros +

    • It was a typical Sardinian home..
    • Wonderful destination restaurant based hotel. Loved the meals and staff.
    • Lovely hotel in the heart of the village There are three separate buildings to this hotel and we were in building3 - approx 200m away from the main building where breakfast is served. The streets are narrowed, cobbled and steep. Our room was large, very comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the town. The breakfast and the evening meal and Easter lunch we had was excellent, as was the service. Lucille helped us to locate places to visit /hike. We stayed four days over the Easter weekend and really enjoyed the cultural events and the friendly town Highly recommended.

    Cons -

    • A little run down. Staff was a little blunt.
    • Village felt abandoned.
    • There was no dedicated parking for the hotel, roads are narrow but city parking was available

Lovely decorated, embraced the unique architecture of the town.Would highly recommend taking advantage of the dinner at the Albergo!

We chose this hotel because of the idea of staying in a historic building.

We were in a room over the kitchen. The floor was very uneven. In fact one of the twin beds was so slanted it was difficult to stay in bed. There were also openings in the floor boards that allowed all the conversations and kitchen activities to be heard as if the people were in the room with you. There was no sleeping until the restaurant closed at midnight.

Fabulous old house spread over 3 buildings, with old world charm but will all the mod cons. The set course meal was delicious, as was the breakfast. The staff were all super friendly. Highl recommend!

The cleaning lady was very helpful, a very nice person who assisted us with checking in. She even drove us to the centre. We didn t see the host de at all, he communicated on email, we had to send pictures of our passports.

The room was very small, it was not possible to open leave both suitcases opened.mixed feelings

Absolutely stunning. Clean tidy close to the main hotel for dinner and breakfast. Typical Sardinian breakfast and exquisite 5 course dinner.

Bafflingly 3 star - this hotel was exquisite. Obviously run with love, every detail thought of in advance, we will remember this hotel for years to come. Our room had been restored to a very high standard, a juliette balcony overlooking the cobbled street below, with a view over the roof tops to the mountains. With its high ceiling, tiled floor, air conditioning and jacuzzi bath, crisp cotton sheets - we could not have been more delighted. Staff were welcoming and keen to help, clearly proud of their work and the hotel itself. Highly recommended.

Beautiful renovation of old house in a beautiful town. Driving distance to some great tourist attractions and beautiful beaches. Very clean and comfortable and breakfast was amazing. Staff were very helpful and spoke great English . Wish we stayed longer

The town was very nice, loved the fact it was very specific to the region. The accommodation had a nice view and is a very good spot to explore around by car. Loved the fact that during the breakfast we got home-made ingredients and they were really tastefull.

The staff. Waiters need to learn more on how to perform in a restaurant that likes to be proud of a Michelin Stars visit. More than this, there is room for improvement, a lot room for improvement, when it comes to be inclusive. During our stay, we were the only couple that was outside of Italy and we were the only ones that were not treated at all like them, despite our polite way of interacting with them.

Great wifi, amazing breakfast and very nice staff. The 5 course dinner is not inckuded but definitely a highlight.

The beds and ceilings were a bit small for my 190cm boyfriend but fine for average height ?

We went for the restaurant and we’re not disappointed. The evening meal was delicious and the setting in the garden perfect.

The room was challenging - antique beds not always easy to sleep in.

The peace and quiet, the friendly and helpful staff, the amazing food. It was very clean too.

We had a couple of fairly sleepless nights when the aircon didn’t work , but were moved to another room for the rest of our stay.

    10LauraPosted on: 7-2-2024

Beautiful Hotel, decorated with love and passion for traditions. The staff is very friendly as it is the owner and founder Gabriella.

The room was very large and comfortable with a fantastic view over the whole village. Breakfast was very nice and in an extremely beautiful setting. The food we had in the evening was the best we had on the entire evening and was particularly good for my vegetarian wife because with a little warning, the kitchen prepared something that was nutritious, interesting and delicious. We were given lots of useful information before arriving and Daniele greeted us warmly. The lady in the shop (Lucilla perhaps) was already very helpful and we were able to buy some beautiful souvenirs. It was a great stay.

Just to be clear about the noise, there was a religious festival happening over the weekend and the locals set off a lot of fireworks. There was nothing the hotel could do about that! I also feel it's important to say that you should follow the hotel's advice in terms of arriving. I didn't and ended up driving through very narrow cobbled streets. I was proud to have done it successfully but quite stressed for a minute or two.

Beautiful and cosy courtyard with lemon trees. Very friendly staff. Nice and bigger than usual (for Italian standards) breakfast.

Wonderfully restored and decorated old houses in a medieval town. Great location for hiking too. The restaurant is excellent and can only be recommended.

    Nothing to complain about.

What a wonderful hotel in the heart of the city. So unique and pictureque. Room was comfortable, and they provided a heater as the evening got cooler than expected. They delivered to us as soon as the request was made.

While the evening dinner itself was excellent, it was half an hour late, with all guests waiting. As the time for dinner was 8pm, an 8.30pm start was a little late.

The property was beautiful. Room was spacious very clean with big bathroom and very quiet . Staff were extremely kind and helpful and the degustation dinner was good although for a solo traveller I would have preferred to just have a meal and go . It was too long and late sitting there for me

Just a bit confusing as there are two houses so it’s impossible to know where to go And you have to go to the first house to get the key Parking is not at the property it is somewhere else and if the staff hadn’t helped me I would not have found it
