    Pros +

    • Nice city, clean and affordable place to stay
    • Charming, ancient building in a small, authentic, historic town. Best of all, a friendly and gracious host and staff. Our room was clean, homey and comfortable. Close to hiking, beaches and lots of places to explore. You do need a car to get around. Thank you, Andrea!
    • A nice place in a little town and it is easy to park near the accommodation. Nice people working there and there is also an opportunity for breakfast, which was ok. Cats were super cute too, they made everybody smile. Delicious coffee served which was a huge extra, and most importantly it was very clean!

    Cons -

    • Wifi worked not well
    • wifi connection was a bit weak in the room, our room had no window which was a pity.
    • I don’t recommend for families. The room is small. We had no place to put the luggage’s. The beds were shaky and the bunk bed had the security bar keep falling. It was also smelly ) from not getting fresh air probably); we could only use the fridge or tv (not at the same time because of the same plug) and also had limited amount of hot water.

The village is cute and the interior yard is cute like in an Italian style.

Nice staff and manager, we were welcomed by some local wines and a friendly cat. The yard is very beautiful. The manager Antonio is very communicative and nice, his English is very good and he gave us some tips for going around. Also, the room is a great value for money, it has everything you need.

Maybe a one time use plastics bags of shampoo. It would be great if it was more environmental friendly

It’s a traditional old, house in the Old town centre, just a few steps from the small city square with an old church. The interior is authentic and cosy. The host Antonio was very kind and helpful and gave us recommendations for dinner restaurant.

The quadruple room was quite small, incl. the bathroom. The interior is simple and traditional but needs a little renewal, especially the bathroom and the breakfast hall. The coffee at breakfast wasn’t as good as elsewhere in Sardinia.

10 rooms around a courtyard where is was possible to get away from the street, small but attractive rooms, in the center of town, cats

    10JoPosted on: 2-22-2025

Antico Borgo is delightful! The courtyard was beautifully decorated and each room was very cosy, even in winter. Andrea was a great and welcoming host and provided very clear check in details. We enjoyed having a local glass of wine with him and hearing his stories. There was also wifi (a rarity in some parts of Sardinia) and he was kind enough to turn on the heater before our arrival. Free parking nearby, cute town!

A warmer/thicker blanket would have been nice in winter. Wifi was good though it didn't stretch to the end of our room (better in the courtyard).

The savoury breakfast was really good, both breakfast and the room were excellent value, and the location was quaint.

Other guests partying on the Friday night in the courtyard proved noisy until the early hours.

Beautiful rustic hotel in a surprisingly beautiful medieval town. There is a sweet cat also. Worth the money.

A beautiful village full of history. We loved to walk around and play with the cats. We climbed the local hill towards the famous cross that was carried all the way up there from the beach. We enjoyed many delicious cappuccinos for breakfast. We visited a museum farmhouse, visited an amazing seacow cave and had a beautiful boat trip with the Pegasus. The waters have amazing colors! During our stay (end of October) there was no place to eat lunch or dinner in the village. We enjoyed some delicious local products (cheeses, sausages, you should really try some!) from the supermarket. What a friendly and helpful ladies! We could also find some restaurant nearby the beaches. It was a great starting point to drive to many different beaches, such as Calla Gonone. In the harbor was a nice restaurant.

The shower opening was very small and headed towards the toilet, that felt a bit cramped. We turned off the fridge at night, because it made a lot of noise.

Nice room with big bed, old traditional style, clean and very good price. Parking nearby. And the best of all - friendly cats! Recommend to animal (especially cat) lovers. A good dose of cat therapy with a lot of purring and snuggling! ❤️

    9NafisehPosted on: 11-13-2024

The hotel and rooms are very authentic. The village is amazing and the beds are comfortable as in two star hotel. Everything is clean. Just note that there are some cute cats that come inside the rooms as soon as the door opens, so if you don’t like cats or are allergic to them, you may have some difficulty staying there.

    7AttilaPosted on: 10-14-2024

Host is friendly, helpful. I think he is thoughtful and has got a passion for hospitality. Location is great and the interior design of the building is very stylish. Nice atmosphere, quiet outside. Good size and comfortable bed (I am 6'2/189). Cute cats.

Room looked much better on the photos. Room 3 has got no window, only on the door. You can open it, but still a bit of a cave feeling. Walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours on the toilet/in the shower/talking as they were in your room. The bathroom is stylish, but the toilet is very small, uncomfortable, I had my legs in the shower while sitting on the toilet. No bedside lamp. Had to ask for a kettle, a knife and two glasses.

So pittoresque, boutique, nice village. Definitely recommend! Room is clean and has a nice balcony on both sides. I did not opt for breakfast but still they offered me coffee in the morning.

Nothing!!!!!The restaurant the host recommended was closed, if i HAVE to think of something.I have been in sardinia for 2 weeks and this was the best accomodation so far. Just go.

    10KaterinaPosted on: 9-28-2024

Small room, we didn’t mind. It was good for a short stay. We were given a glass of Sardinia wine as a welcome. They have cats in the courtyard which our daughter loved so much. We didn’t order the breakfast ,but it looked delicious as they were bringing it to other guests

Amazing place, very helpful staff, magical energy in the site, good breakfast

It was a bit noisy from the bathroom of the neighbors, the building is antic.

    10AjlinPosted on: 9-4-2024

Beautiful accomondation. Host was very nice and also the ladies preparing breakfast. A big plus have been the cute cats.

A sweet little well run B & B in a pretty village close to but one step removed from all the action.Charming proprietor, very helpul insisted that I park my vintage motorcycle in the courtyard which was much appreciated

Very pleasant stay in a comfortable room. Great host who offered us a glass of wine once we arrived.
