The location, the terraces, the atmosphere, the simple room, nice staff. Great value and good for a night or two.

It is very good and clean guesthouse with home atmosphere, located in the centre of small town Galtelli. The room is located in the old traditional Sardinian house from which there is view of the town as well as surrounding green hills. There was no problem to park for free just outside of the guesthouse area. The host is very friendly and helpful. It is really a good base to explore picturesque and traditional Barbagia region.

electric kettle could be a good idea.

Amazing place, first time for me sleeping in a castle! The owner was having a gathering with friends and despite us arriving late (11pm), invited us to have some food and drinks with them which was a lovely gesture and one of the highlights of our trip to Sardinia. The room itself is tiny but exactly as advertised. Great view from the windows as well. Places looked amazing during the night, nicely lit up. Easy parking in front of the castle. Amazing value for money.

The room is probably only 2m in height, if that, so beware if you are tall.

Very nice romantic place, beautiful view and very friendly owner ?We really enjoyed our breakfast served at the morning and glass of wine at the tower with the view every evening.

The check in wasn't problematic, even though we arrived late at night.

It was very dump, you could feel the moisture in the air, the room smelled, the linen wasn't very clean. We didn't even get a quilt, only some thin, disgusting blanket. There was an electric kettle available to use, but not even a cup in the room to make oneself a coffee. A very grim place overall, we moved out after one night and were very happy about it.

The sweet breakfast was good, but it would have been great to have fresh pastries instead of packaged ones.

The owner was super polite and always a phone call away to help out, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. Plus, it’s an awesome value for the price, especially since you’re so close to some of the island’s most beautiful spots.

The room was a bit small, which made it a little less comfortable than I’d hoped. I had imagined being right inside the castle, but it turned out to be just outside. Despite that, I had a nice time!

I mean how many times have you stayed in a castle? It's totally awesome place, if you don't expect a 10 star hotel. Great views from the room (I was lucky that mine was on the very top :)) and especially from the terrace. Free parking, great pizzeria and supermarket nearby, comfortable room, hassle-free check in and out, fridge in the room, comfy bed, shower, I mean I could go on and on. And superb breakfast, the only one during my stay in Sardinia that wasn't limited to sweet snack. I especially recommend for those traveling by a car to check the nearby mountain, some amazing roads and views.

Wifi not working, though I bet it was only temporary and it wasn't an issue for me.

Hey, It’s a castle. What’s not to like?

A microwave or stove, some plates, cups and cuttlery would be an improvement.

The Castle looked very nice. The restaurant near the Castle was very good and friendly.

Antonio and his cat were really friendly and amazing hosts. Very unique stay at the castle and also very cheap.

Quite a small room and bathroom, but it was good for the price. The shower could do with an update, but apart from that everything was all good.

A very nice hotel in the cente of Galtelli. Our room ws small, but very well organized and furnished, with efficient use of space. The bathroom was clean. The location is perfect, close to supermarket and pizzerias in Galtelli. On the other side of the street there are prehistoric rock-cut tombs (domus de janas).

Great place, something else than a typical b&b. Very unique, old castle style design, the rooms are not super big but there is everything you need. Hosts are helpful. Great terrace with a view so you can relax with glass of wine. No problem to park right in front of the building, there was always a spot.

Full of character and care - beautiful historical building and incredibly helpful and kind staff. We loved our stay and thought it was wonderful value!

Great location. Romantic castle type accommodation with nice view. Nicely renovated room, large-clean bathroom. Simple but adequate furniture. Free parking, a big shop and a very good restaurant just down the street.

I did not want to reduce points, because I think this is a problem that can easily be solved, but I would like to make a note that the air conditioner filter HAS TO BE CLEANED. I'm sure it's just a thing the owner did not notice and will resolve or have solved already.

Perfect Location in the mittle of Galtellì. Best resto of town "tanca e gaia" (reservation is recommended) with 11 plates is 5 min walking away (no driving because of Vino). Breakfast at the terasse with a nice view. Perfect for our second night.

Bathroom need to be renovated, by the way room and bathroom was small but we knew where we going. Size of those two places is big enough for single traveler.
