    • The food!
    • The food was exceptional, in particular at dinner, when they served a set menu of local Tirolean dishes. The room was a decent size but always cleaned well. Breakfast was buffet style.

    Cons -

    • On last evening, I was seated in another room for dinner but was not told so beforehand. I found another group sitting at the table I had occupied for the past three evenings. That left me standing in the dining room confused and uncomfortable!
    • the spa area was too busy the room was small and no balcony
    • The stay was great!

Very nicely refurbished rooms. A charming older hotel.

Unfortunately, I have to say the breakfast was unexpectedly poor

The building is beautiful and the rooms confortable. The sauna facilities were also as expected, and more than enough to relax after a intensive day in the slopes. The convenience of having the bus stop at 20-30 meters from the hotel entrance was excellent (The bus takes you for free to St Anton)

The only thing we didn’t like was there was some bad smell in the bathroom (it seems that it was coming from the pipes)

Dinner was good with new menu each night.

Options for Breakfast were limited compared to some other hotels that I have visited in Austria.

Beautiful place, super close to the free bus stop up to St Anton. Lovely staff and great food.My room was a little warm- although not a bad thing in winter! Otherwise super comfy and clean.

Food was delicious. Lobby and the restaurant is big and comfortable.

There is a parking problem during peak season. Austrian staffs were not so friendly.

The lady at the reception was very kind and welcoming.

Unfortunately, the staff in the dining area were quite unpleasant and rude. We stayed for only one night and had breakfast there. Upon entering the dining area, we were approached by a staff member who was supposed to assign us a table. Communication was very difficult as they spoke very little German or English. They couldn’t find our name on the seating plan, probably because we checked in late the night before. Even though the large dining area was nearly empty with dozens of available tables, the man would not allow us to sit down. He repeatedly asked for my name and where we sat for dinner. I had to state my name and explain our situation—that we didn’t have dinner and hadn't received a table yet—over and over again. He appeared visibly frustrated, gesturing aggressively towards his paper, rolling his eyes, sighing constantly, and practically shouting, "YOUR NAME! YOUR NAME!" despite me having mentioned it six or seven times. After a rather pointless discussion, he went to the front desk and returned, visibly annoyed, to finally give us a table. He then started speaking in a language we didn't understand, threw his hand in the air, and walked away.

A very nice hotel near the ski slopes. We had dinner included and the food exceeded our expectations. Very fresh and healthy food options. Great wellness and relax with bathrobes and towels provided. Friendly and polite staff.

Room size was a little too small. No water kettle in the room.

We really enjoyed the quality and variety of the breakfast and dinner. Access to St Anton was very easy via the free bus which is right out the front of the hotel.

    9AngelaPosted on: 1-20-2025

Bus stop to St Anton right in front of hotel. Half board with 4 course meal dinner really good.

The bar is a bit too dark and cold

The position, the Summer Card offer and the spa

They said to me dogs are not allowed in the dining room. I left mine in my own room but some other guests had their own there however. A rule should be working for everybody or anybody. The room door can be easily opened from the inside so not so safe if you need to leave a clever dog. There should be the possibility to lock the door by the outside. The balcony is not safe. It has both panels limiting the space for each rooms which can be freely pull and opened. The dog can easily walk around all the other balconies ? and you cannot leave safely your stuff. Everybody can reach your balcony from other rooms.

The staff were wonderful, especially Elena who made our stay very special. She was very patient and helpful with all of our requests. She even arranged a table for our dinner on the lovely terrace in front of the hotel so that we could eat outside on a beautiful evening. The room was very large, clean and comfortable with a roomy balcony. The breakfast and dinner were superb! My wife loved the wellness center - sauna, steam room and relaxation area.

A small refrigerator is needed in the room for drinks and ice packs.A shower curtain in the bathroom is also needed to keep water from going on the floor.

Very friendly staff, local food, nice and cosy rooms and communal areas

    8BenPosted on: 7-1-2024

Food was excellent, Wellness Spa was incredible - much nicer than I expected. Loved the woodwork and charm of the place

Not the hotel's fault but it's next to a church that rings their bell 4x an hour and then when we were there on Saturday rang it for about a half hour. It's ridiculously loud since it's about 100 feet from the hotel. If you are not an early riser or are early to bed you should look elsewhere...

The room and spa were lovely and the bus ride to the main ski resort was very easy. The fresh bread at breakfast was also delicious!

The dinner was quite variable. We had a few great meals, but some weren't good. The salad bar was also too repetitive for a weeks stay.
