Room furniture is a bit outdated, but other than that, it is very good value for money.

the breakfast was nice with varied options, the stuff was helpful and answered all our questions including helping with our trip plan for the day and gave us nice tips.

the pool was supposed to be warm but it was cold and not comfortable to go inside when it's 10 degrees outside. we didn't order dinner at the beginning but added on arrival. however, when we arrived to the restaurant the waitress didn't know we ordered a dinner and kicked us out. we were with a little child and had to go back to reception and wait for them to sort thing out. it was pretty humiliating. the day later the waitress again told us we didn't book the dinner, then again kicked us out and again after waiting she said we can get in. the drinks were not included and the waitress said it just after we ordered and asked about it.

Staff was friendly and responsive, always willing to help. Food was good, rich breakfast and dinner, afternoon snack. Location great- short to reasonable driving distance to all attractions.

Breakfast was very good, rich and tasty as well as dinner. Wellness is really amazing and we relaxed there every day. Ski area West Dachstein is reachable by car in short time, parking and all service around was perfect.

Room was spotless, Staff was super friendly. We enjoyed the free train pass to Salzburg to explore the city. My husband enjoyed the sauna and the swimming pool.

Our room did not have an iron or a kettle to make tea. It was not updated at all. Also, we missed the cooking of the German chef and the care from his wife Monika who worked in the dining room. Nobody could create such perfectly prepared fish as he could.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, food was delicious and spa is amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Afternoon snack was very pleasant after skiing.

Location is nice and staff were very friendly. You can definitely see that everyone is trying their best.

The property is in dire need of renovation. The rooms are dated and worn out and so are the facilities. Our room was damp with mould around the windows. Only the restaurant area still holds up ok. Food was also average at best. For the price that we payed it was not really good value for money.

The staff was nice and friendly and tried to help with everything. But still we ended up paying a lot comparing to what we received. Besides that the best thing was that we left after one night.

I don’t like to write bad reviews but unfortunately after contacting the property they didn’t offer any compensation so I write here to warn the potential travelers. This place feels like a SCAM. The pictures have nothing to do with the place. I was shocked when we arrived, looks so different than what I booked and I don’t understand how this place received such a high rate. The facilities, the rooms, the dining room, the wellness (which was the main reason why we came)- need URGENT maintenance! Everything is very old! Not a 4 star hotel at all. At dinner they made a huge mistake with us, serving us pork without knowing while we mentioned we are vegetarian.Don’t let the high rate mislead you and don’t repeat our mistake, if you are looking for a nice decent 4-star wellness hotel- this is not the place for you.

The place is beautiful, with a view where you can appreciate the beauty of the landscape. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. The facilities are very clean and the room is very comfortable. The food is delicious, especially breakfast.

We LOVED this hotel. The staff were amazing and really looked after you here, the couple that run the hotel are also heavily involved and it was nice to hear about their story. When we arrived they had upgraded us to their traditional Austrian room with mountain view for no extra cost, you have prosecco on arrival and get a bundt cake in your room. The food was brilliant - best hotel I've been to for food. It's nice to have the buffet for breakfast and a 6 course meal in the evenings (food choices changed every night so this was varied and you were never eating the same thing). The afternoon snack consisted of soup and a sweet treat so for us this was enough to call lunch. The only things not included in your stay are the drinks. All staff were amazing at English, apart from a few. In particular, Layla was amazing! Spa was lovely, however, it did confuse us the first day as certain steam rooms or baths have to be turned on by a button in order to use it. We eventually figured it out but on our first day we thought things didn't work! Once you have the hang of it, it made sense and was easy. The location was gorgeous and I loved exploring Abtenau. We went on a couple of local hikes, one big and one small. The views were incredible! The town was quite quiet, but we did go in Oct out of season so this is to be expected. I'd also say be prepared to take cash euros, as the majority of places only take cash out here. The hotel also provided a travel card which gave us free travel on the 470/471 bus which went in and out of Abtenau and also gave us free travel on the S3 train, this means you can get in and out of Salzburg for free, so we did two day trips there during our stay. The hotel owner informed us that they didn't get guests from the UK very often, but I highly recommend this hotel and my partner and I have already said we'd definitely return! Already recommended it to friends and family.

My partner and I would have loved a more equipped gym, as we are regular gym users. The gym is very small here with limited equipment, so if that is a priority for you then it might not be suitable. Despite this though, we still said we would return to this hotel because it's so amazing in every other way!

Place is like from a Fairytale / Märchen. Sleeping with mountains. Air pure. Very friendly staff and management. Excellent food. Spa and Wellness with variety of Programs. Comfy beds. Open spaced garden. Pets allowed as well. Place has soul / Seele and tradition and that speaks for itself. Simply a must come and experience. "Moisl" deserves 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friendly staff, nice decor

We had been promised an accessible room, but it was not available because of some mix-up - the staff on site didn't have the right keys. So, we were upgraded to a different room but made to pay for the difference.

I don’t have anything bad

Breakfast and dinner were exceptional! Congrats to the chef! The mountain view from the room and the garden was astonishing, watching sun rise and sun set was breathtaking. The location is great and strategic, with easy access to Salzburg, Hallstadt, Mondsee, Attersee, St.Wolfgangsee and other. Hotel is situated in the center of Abtenau, close to a pharmacy, Spar and main square with bars where concerts are often taking place. Everyone was very kind and welcoming at the hotel, we cannot wait to return! Highly recommended!

The dinner time is 6-8pm, it would be better to last till 9pm due to trips around, but it is just a suggestion, and we were happy to return earlier in order not to miss amazing dinner :)

The people in reception were fantastic. Always ready with help, a smile and a happy mood.The food was really nice. We enjoyed the stay, and we would come back.Most of the personal were great.

The room was a bit dated. Having a toilet with no sink (had to go into bathroom for that). One of the waiters (older guy) just seemed like we were a burden, and he didn't provide a service that gave a good experience.

Excellent price for money, very good location, nice rooms, very good food, very good facilities (sauna, pool, bowling)

The hotel is situated in a beautiful scenery among the high hills of the Austrian Alps. Panoramic view from the balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food. Many program opportunities in the nearby area. I recommend this place for everybody.
