    Pros +

    • Nothing. Maybe the location on the town's main square.
    • Hostel Universitat was a great stay!Super clean, with comfortable beds with crisp white cotton sheets and clean, fresh towels. One of the best showers on this trip and we have been in a lot of properties. Large shower stall with overhead rain head, lots of hot water. The air conditioning was strong as was the WiFi. Breakfast was very good which included some local foods. We were able to securely park our bicycles in the building. The hostel was a gem and a great value. I can recommend and I would return. Easy to find in the old town center, Josef is a very kind host.
    • Very comfortable beds, lovely crisp sheets

    Cons -

    • We booked two rooms for a family with 3 kids. The hotel is difficult to access by car. The reception was dirty and full of flies. The furniture was outdated. The rooms had a bad smell, felt like they were not well ventilated and had terrible views (particularly room 204). The key system (codes that are not changed from reservation to reservation) feel unsafe. Perhaps one of the worse hotels I've ever been to.
    • We reserved a room with two single beds but got we got a tiny room with three single beds.
    • Not a major issue as we only stayed one night but shower gel and shampoo seemed like left by the previous occupant.

Perfect location, free carpark a few minutes away. Room was as described, bed was comfortable.

The room and all facilities were very clean. In addition, the beds were comfortable and there wasn't much noise. Also, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Room was very clean. Beds are very comfortable plus the size is suitable for two people. Very good location.

Secure location provided for storage of our touring bicycles during our overnight stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Good central location.

Although registered, had to call again. One person appeared. Not really embracing. The accomodation is more for students in the summer time, when the heating system is not required...For all the others: choose sth else.

Cold, no breakfast. very basic room.

It was miss represented as a hotel, a former University. I was shocked to find that it was a hostel.

It was barely staffed for the time of year. We had no food or place to eat. There was no hair dryer as it is really a hostal. Not a hotel. Also there should be a fore warning of the bells going off every hour even during the night time hours. We could not sleep without ear plugs, which were barely effective

The location is right in the city center and you can easily walk around the area and reach anything you want.

The room was smaller than expected. The common areas were very cold and we couldn't use them. There was one person working there and he was not very helpful.

The manager spoke no english at all (which is okay) and made basically no attempt to help us or underatand us, meaning we had to wait quite a lot to be checked in or out.

The room was decently clean and comfortable enough. Really near the center of town.

    9MichaelPosted on: 9-22-2021

The location was great with regards to being in the center of town. Other than that, the rooms were ok, clean and austere. We really liked the fact that there were a lot of electricity points in the room to charge all our digital instruments.

There is not a real way to get to the hotel with the car and we parked about 200m from the hotel and walked with our suitcases.

    Quiet, modern, clean, fresh

    No breakfast

It is a very familiar place, right at the center of Cervera. Owner is very kind and the food was very good.

    Restaurant a bit noisy

This place was a surprise!! We wanted to eat paella from this region and the person who was taking care of this place made Paella Marsico for us and offered us home-made delicious red wine along with a satisfying honey ricotta dessert:) I highly recommend this place for couples looking for an authentic Catalonian experience:)
