Pros +
- The whole property, its surroundings, the restaurant and really nice staff / service
- Peaceful location, beautiful setting and nice facilities. Pool was very refreshing and very well maintained, with clean water. Breakfast was good. Staff was super nice and friendly.
- I loved absolutely everything about being here. 11 out of 10 stars, even more beautiful than the pictures, gorgeous grounds, lovely staff, and cute cats and dogs to pet!!!
Cons -
- The bed was little too hard… and that the spa was extra. Although I understand it is private… but was hopeing for some shared spa facilities
- 1. Some of the rooms and common areas smelled musty, stale or even slightly off (like a slight sewerage smell). The buildings are old and maybe the air circulation is not ideal. 2. Dinner was just average. The kitchen and staff were very accommodating but the food was disappointing. The breakfast was good though.
- They were not communicative at all over messaging so that did worry me but once I got there, they took care of everything wonderfully.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Everything from the greeting at the front desk to quality of the room, from the views to the food, was excellent. The hotel feels like a little oasis of calm surrounded by nature. Dinner was top notch with a fabulous wine list and breakfast had a great selection of dishes including a lot of local produce.
An absolute gem. We were shown around when we arrived and as we arrived mid week it was relatively quiet and were able to upgrade to the larger suite with balcony/terrace which was lovely and so romantic. The food was exceptional and good value. The views were lovely, the ambience, the friendliness of the staff, absolutely everything!
Great service and food excellent value for the money
A little out in the boonies
We were able to take a walk and gather mushrooms with the child in the woods and take a quiet rest. We will never forget the view from the suite. We will be back on the next vacation.
Wonderful place, we will come back!
