La Vella Farga Hotel

Beautiful décor, lovely staff, regréât food, relaxing environment

The bed was not the most comfortable, and the dinner in the restaurant, although generally good, had some poor dishes

Such a beautiful and unique hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The decor is amazing, the service is incredible, the breakfast was superb quality, and the room is super comfortable. We loved the forest and mountain views from the room, the heated floor in the bathroom and the amazing bath tub. The spa experience in the nearby rural house was incredible as we had the whole place to ourselves and they were very flexible when we had to change the time of our spa reservation. Thank you for making it a birthday to remember!

Amazing location, fantastic breakfast

We had a massive leak in the bathroom, floating the whole bathroom, making it impossible to use the shower and the WC. Management was not able to offer a reasonable explanation, no sorry and no compensation at all.

The hotel, buildings, swimming pool are so beautiful and so very well decorated. All furniture, objects, overall decoration are amazing. The bedroom room was also beautiful, large, comfortable and very well decorated with a very good test.CONGRATULATION to the interior architect and the renovation architect.The breakfast was quite succulent and in a nice place near the swimming pool.

All was perfect, but sorry, except the second breakfast on Sunday. The buffet was half empty at 0945. There were no more orange and detox juices (we had to wait for about 15 minutes to get an orange juice). Then we could not get the eggs mimosa (which were on the menu). The waiter could see that we had a photo of the breakfast menu given the day before. He asked us if he could see it and took our phone to the ‘small kitchen’ behind a wall to show it. Anyway, we could eat fine.

The Old Farm House Vibe and how well kept the grounds are make this place magical. I would book this place for a wedding in a heart beat, it was best stop on 39 day vacation, by far!

What a blast! The Vella Farga was such a pleasant surprise to us, that we enjoyed every moment here. But let me give you some details:Getting to the Vella Farga is an interesting experience: You drive quite a while getting there, riding through endless landscape of hills and very small villages. Your navigation will tell you to take smaller and smaller roads until you reach the Vella Farga. From this point on, an amazing property in the middle of nowhere surprises you in every aspect: The historic properly has been renovated to perfection with 100% attention to detail, still preserving the history of the place. Decorations all over the place make your eyes look around, and whatever you see makes you pull your phone out of the pocket to take yet another photo of that lovely place.The personell is very friendly and welcoming, trying to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The food (breakfast and dinner) is simply amazing and one of the highest standards I ever experienced. Creativity and tastiness of all the dishes is outstanding and all fresh. The infinity pool gives you a floating feeling while at the same time having an uninterrupted view across the landscape. The bed in your hotel room is so cosy that you will not get out of it once you lay down. And yes: The chandeliers are literally everywhere and make you feel special just looking at that while relaxing in your cozy bed.I would certainly recommend this place to everyone who wants to travel in that area and wants to collect some memories that stick in your head forever.

Wow. County location, pool with stunning views, incredible service, immaculately presented property, we loved a soak in the roll top bath. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The Michelin star restaurant was brilliant, had the beef with blue cheese and figs and apple tart and both superb. Really relaxing stay, super comfortable bed, sorry to leave.

My wife is vegetarian, no veg options on menu, thankfully she will eat fish and did say the cod was super.

The staff, the luxury, the delicious food and divine pool! Would recommend very very highly!

Everything was fabulous! Starting from the reception…We were so warmly welcomed. Service, atmosphere, every detail was filled with love. The owners are so passionate about antique decorations and the hotel is decorated with enormous taste! Food in the restaurant exceeded expectations! We celebrated my mom’s birthday and it was the best birthday for her! Thank you la Vella Farga team!
