- The owners, Anne and Julien, do a wonderful job of helping guests enjoy the hotel and Nerac, as well as address any personal needs such as taxis and boarding passes. The breakfast room is attractive; so is the sitting room.

Cons -
- The hotel does not have a designated parking, though there are many places to park the car nearby. The breakfast is rather modest, but still ok.
- The rooms and bathrooms are small.
- The pool is very tiny. The seperate hot and cold water at shower and sink look nice but are inconvenient. There is no elevator.

Easy parking, extremely quiet, comfortable mattress and excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful owners.
Great location from which to tour Nerac. We had a great room. It was quiet and comfortable. Easy storage for our bikes, too!
Air conditioned room, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
We visited as a group for a friends wedding and Julian was so accommodating towards us and helped us with anything we needed at any time. The hotel was so beautiful and there were lovely little areas for a group of our size to sit and have a drink. It was great
Julian was so so amazing to our massive group of friends we stayed here for our friends wedding. Breakfast was incredible. Julian was so helpful with recommendations, questions and so kind. Thank you for making our trip so special
The hotel is near the centre of Nerac which is a nice small town. The hotel is a mixture of modern and old. Our room came with a more old-fashioned furniture with one visible old wall. The bathroom was old-fashioned with seperate warm and cold water. Everything was clean. The hotel was at a quiet part of the village. The staff was lovely. Very nice and welcoming and offering maps and recommendations. The breakfast room was nice and breakfast was good. They had even an egg cooker and a juicer to make fresh orange juice yourself. Parking was for free and easy possible around the hotel at the street.

Everything!!The hotel is beautiful!! Such a charming boutique hotel. Situated in a central, quite, location but a ‘stones’ throw away to the hub of activity. The hotel has been tastefully restored retaining the old charm. Clean and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are delightful the bed extremely comfortable and all the mod cons of a 5 star hotel. Beautiful, cosy seating areas to relax downstairs, a bar and a lovely outdoor terrace with plunge pool.My partner and I were cycle touring around France and were booked to stay here one night. We were greeted warmly and positively by Julien the owner on our arrival. Once panniers and luggage removed from the bikes he kindly helped us with taking them to the garage at the side of the property for safe storage. One of us is vegetarian and he recommended a wonderful restaurant opposite the castle which we could admire whilst dining outside and it was a perfect evening with delicious food.Breakfast was served in a delightful dining area with a delicious array of choices again no stone left unturned. On setting off on the bikes about 15 kms into the ride I had a mechanical problem where I lost my gears and the bike couldn’t be ridden. We were in a rural area. I telephoned the hotel where I spoke with Anne Juliens wife to ask if she could contact a taxi for me in French to get me back to a bike shop in town. I couldn’t believe it. She insisted Julien come and collect me in his van and take me to a bike shop in Nérac. Julien was there in no time and took me to a shop back in town where he interpreted. And the mechanics attended to my bike right away. He insisted on waiting until he knew they could fix it and that I would be back in the road refusing to take any money for his time and petrol. This act of kindness was so appreciated. I can’t thank him enough.
Nothing other than our stay was to brief!!
Great location, nicely renovated rooms, excellent breakfast, very reasonable prices, friendly staff.
lovely family hotel welcoming and well set out and decorated beautifully
Clean room. very comfortable bed. Tiny bathroom But convenient. Welcoming staff. ideal location. Public parking (in front of the hotel). Cosy living room
everything was smooth and convenient. maybe the shower was a little bit tiny
Simple but nice breakfast.Friendly, unassuming manager, very helpful with parking. The location proved to be perfect - so well placed for the old town, river and beautiful old bridge just behind the hotel.
No private parking, but manager was able to give us a dashboard clock to get free parking in the square out front.
the location was great. Hotel was lovely and had beautiful common spaces. The owners were lovely. Breakfast was also wonderful. We would come back again.
Very charming property , spacious room, attention to detail excellent , friendly and helpful staff
No complaints
it’s been renovated and has everything you could wish for from an overnight stay. They now have an attractive bar and lounge area
The hotel was excellent - very friendly and helpful staff, went out of their way. We had booked the wrong dates by mistake and they we happy to accommodate the change without a problem.Room was lovely, situation excellent and the breakfast was top class. Highly recommended.
Lovely, helpful staff, plunge pool, little bar and the historically sensitive refurbishment is wonderful. What a treat! Oh, excellent breakfast too. Very highly recommended. Merci Beaucoup!
The room is small but everything else compensates.
Location excellent, lovely, cosy, hotel and staff, would be lovely if they had a restaurant, when you've been out all day you don't want to go out finding a restaurant, especially in winter, that's the only negative!
