Pros +
- (+) Hotel facilities look better than the pictures with the especially beautiful pool area(+) Peaceful environment (+) Room was terrific (+) Friendly staff
- Wonderfully restored historic buildings which have all modern amenities while still retaining the look and feel of a medieval place. Great restaurant. Wonderful pool. A fabulous property.
- Gorgeous pool, beautiful location. Amazing small little village square with lovely food options.
Cons -
- The only slight downside is car parking 500m away but a voiturier dealt with that.
- No parking available (only valet service). Breakfast could be better. Some equipment was outdated or low quality (e.g. non-working phone, cheap power strips, very old elevator). Overall, the experience didn't quite match what I expect from hotels in this category.
- It looked quite tired, the paintwork in our room needed a good clean. The pool bar was never open, (we always had to go and find someone) there were never any towels available for the pool, a glass of wine was never a consistent size. Also, no consistency with nibbles with drinks. We paid for valet parking but on the last day when we asked for a specific time for the car to be ready as we had a flight, it was over 10 minutes late as the valet hadn't arrived for work on time. The pool was damaged on the walls and very sharp. They never scooped any leaves out of the pool and left the vacuum in permanently which made it difficult to swim in.

Good breakfast, nice pool, relaxing atmosphere, and the patio felt like an outdoor lobby.

The bedroom was spacious and the staff nice

Lovely pool area and courtyards to relax in. Our room was also very nice, spacious if a little heavy on "aromatherapy" smelling salts!
The breakfast was quite poor quality and value for money. I would have rated the hotel and our stay higher if it wasn't for the poor selection and quality of breakfast. I travel a lot hence have many comparisons to assess it against - this needs to improve for €27/head.
Very good
We actually struggled at times to comunicate w personnel as not everyone was speaking English. Nevertheless - those who were - proved to be exceptional in their welcoming and very helpful
Tasteful and interesting use of old buildings. Beautifully styled. Lovely friendly staff.
Breakfast was a bit pricey.
Great setting and the hotel has been beautifully restored. It’s calm and welcoming. The breakfast was ok but the evening meal was absolutely delicious and worthy of a Michelin star restaurant, we don’t often say that as we are vegetarian. The staff were very helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely rebook if we come back to this area.
Having to pay extra for breakfast.
The village itself is quaint. We loved the pool and lounger area of the hotel. There are 3 restaurants in the village (plus the village BAR, which is a MUST to experience). The local restaurants all close on a Wednesday, so we ate in the hotel, which was fine but not as good as being out in the village (in our opinion).
Breakfast was disappointing for the price they charge. We felt they could do much better. Personally I wouldn't bother paying extra for it. We were in a room with a terrace which was great but the bathroom was up about 3 or 4 steps, so take a torch with you for night-time loo trips!. The room is up 3 flights of stairs. Shower is in the bath. Not an issue for us but a problem if you have mobility issues and should be flagged up when booking I feel.No information about the hotel or the local area readily available. Staff were always professional but a bit remote, not overly 'warm' (except the evening waiting staff and the man who takes away the cars - they were friendly).
Great location, very nice rooms and amazing breakfast
very clean, friendly staff, great atmosphere
the poolside bar was outrageously expensive. 14 euros for a pint of beer is extortionate, 9 euros for a bottle of sparkling water is equally bad. Its such shame as it put a negative spin on our time by the pool. it seems like they are trying to rip off the tourists as they know there aren’t too many other options in the area
Fantastic place to stay. The view, the staff, the room, the whole setting, everything was perfect!
This hotel was stunning. Excellent staff, room very quaint, food delicious. Couldn’t fault a thing in this magical place
The most beautiful property with amazing staff
The pool wasn’t working for 50% off our 3 day stay
Very good the location too far from the tables
The cleaning and the actitud of the restaurant should be better
Lovely staff and location. The village is beautiful.
The Breakfast is really below average. Over priced and very corporate. I have eaten better in a 1 ⭐️The restaurant is overpriced and pretentious.
The hotel felt luxurious and in keeping with the medieval village. Great location for the village. Excellent pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for shade. Good size bedroom. Great views of the Provence countryside.
The shower is in the bath without a screen so easy to make the floor wet and dangerous. The lunch menu was more relaxed and they could offer a alternative in the evening to the a la carte dining experience.
Very scenic pool side in a maize of cute ancient buildings. Great rooms
Felt closer to a 5* hotel :)Lovely pool area and how the hotel seamlessly integrates with an old village.Hotel also had pool drinks service, pool table and table football and a lovely courtyard.Room was spacious and good ACBreakfast was great both in choice and quality
Dinner options were limited (though we didn’t eat there, preferring to go to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon for more choice and a lovely walk around.YOU need a hire car if you stay hereMinor moan that the staff wouldn’t let us have more than 1 towel each (get more if in short supply!)
