Pros +
- 20 min walk from centre of town. Manager couldn't get us a taxi so he run us in himself. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Facilities were good.
- Lovely location, very quiet at night, host was very nice
- This was a good place for an over night stop, no frills but it provided a bedroom and breakfast. The latter was OK but lacked much variety. We were disturbed at mid night by late arrivals and what appeared to be staff cleaning the bar area beneath our bedroom. So, we did not sleep well here.

- Booked on the basis it had a restaurant, when we got there the restaurant was closed. Hence, why we needed a taxi to get into town.
- Being fair, we visited on 2nd Nov so it was out of season.We arrived at 16:00, bar was closed, no food or restaurant.My room did have a really strong smell of old cigarettes.We were motorcycling around Spain, bikes were parked overnight directly in view of main road, so not ideal for bikers

On the final night of a 13 day cycle race through Spain we stayed in Guardo. The welcome we received from our hosts was the warmest of our entire trip. These people really know how to look after guests. Great room. Great food. Nothing too much trouble.
There was nothing not to like here.
