We liked the hospitality of the staff. Very friendly and helpful
The toilet was a bit small and separate from the bathroom. It was 20mins away from the grotto so we had to spend 80 euro both ways for 2 days. And at the end of the stay we were charged 7.50 euro for asking to call the taxi for the two days which was bit of a surprise.
Beautiful old French hotel, with lop sided stairs and creaky floors. Very nicely decorated in a traditional style. Very clean and absolutely lovely hosts.
We were only there for a night. The toilet in a cupboard was original but it served it’s purpose.
according to the photos not the rooms that I thought which compared to rooms at city of Lourdes church this is very poor ?
11 kilometers away from city of Lourdes church and I thought it’s in very good condition when you compare with rooms in the city of Lourdes but unfortunately I am not happy with the prices, sorry ?
Overall our stay was fine for the price but the room and the conditions are already a bit outdated. It is in a quiet village which had a local party that day with some pizza places closeby. We did not have breakfast so I cannot speak about it. The staff is very friendly.
The air conditioning could make less noise (we needed to switch if off during the night) and be installed on a wall. For our purposes (a one night stay) it was fine but it would not be a good choice for a full week stay.
Extremely good value with an excellent Host . High point was the very clean well made comfortable bed. I was very late arriving so missed the little restaurant but it looked really homely Also only a 15min drive to the airport
Nice old French building, Nice pleasant and attentive land lady. Clean room. Nice looking bar downstairs, attached to the building (not sampled). All in a pleasant french village.
Noisy toilet, tiny bedroom and bathroom, but fine for our needs.
Breakfast was very nice, the beds were perfect, we've rarely enjoyed better beds than in this place. The reception was nice and helpful.
Locking the doors to the rooms needed some explanation, the staff was very helpful in showing us how to properly close them. The air in the rooms was smelling a bit damp when we arrived, opening the windows helped fix that. These are things that go with an old, historical building like this, they just expose us as city slickers :-)
Bed very comfortable. Clean.
Old building, with several mixed improvements.
Owner was very accommodating and nice. We arrived late at night and they left us a note with the room key and their home phone instead of leaving us.
A little far from the area that we wanted to sightsee.
