breakfast was fresh, swimming in the warm water with all the jets was lovely although we were a bit too relaxed afterwards to want to do anything physical.

couldn't use the spa in early evening and there was no masseuse available next day, restaurant was closed on a saturday night and it's a long drive to find another, bed was too hard

Old hotel and the breakfast was not very good. Value for money relationship was poor. Moreover, although the hotel has an indoor pool, this was not included on the price. To make it worse, when we arrived at the hotel, we were told we could use the pool for an extra payment at the spa, which we agreed to do so. When I went to the spa for further information I was told we would need to wear the robes provided in the room. I went back to the room and there were none available. Still and lastly, we decided to go to the spa anyway, but our two year old was not allowed in as the minimum age was 3. This was not described anywhere. We had chosen this particular hotel because it had an indoor pool. Ended up not using it. The staff did not know what ti do and was not helpful.

A lot of things… Our door didn’t lock and the cleaning staff left it open on day 2, so our room was open for anyone most of the day.The amenities were average but the mattress was really hard and uncomfortable. On both days, the breakfast was bad: first, it ends very early at 9:30 so most people go around 8:45. By then, there are no clean available tables, most of the food is gone and when asked, the staff informed us no more bread or ham was going to be replaced. We ended up not eating much at all and avoiding time at the hotel.The pool and aqua center are quite expensive even with the guest discount and the massage was not great and overall rushed. I wouldn’t go back

Would not recommend to anyone that is used to using the pool attached to hotel is not part of the hotel cost

The spa ie swimming pool charges to use facilities- $13.5 per person in euros to use the pool for 45 mins $20 euros each to use the steam and sauna room- this coat us 89 euros - for the location way out of the way not worth the money

Breakfast choice

We got there at about 1900 and is was to late to make a reservation at it's restaurant. The receptionist wasn't helpfull at sll, she didnt give advice for restaurants or asked the kitchen if they could make an back up meal.We went to bed without eating

We arrived there as it was difficult to find a place in Figera do Foz. The check in process was long. Seemed understaffed. Our room was not cleaned so we went out for dinner and when way room was cleaned. Breakfast was basic. The reception staff apologised for the oversight but could not give us any form of compensation for the room. Location basically in the middle of nowhere but has thermal springs which must attract visitors. A positive was it had a nice view and large balcony

Nothing really at all, but the size of the room was decent.

The air conditioning was fixed at 16°C or not at all. When I asked the staff to correct this, they said they would but didnt. The next morning when I mentioned it again, the manager got argumentative and defensive and blamed me for the fact that the person on duty in the evening at 10pm didn't know how to adjust the AC control panel from reception. Both managers came across as rude, and criticised their staff in front of us as guests which I thought very unprofessional and not fair. The breakfast was very chaotic, with a lack of bowls and plates, insufficient seating, we cleared a table to sit ourselves down for breakfast and had breakfast cereal out of a cup. The coffee was on dispenser and the juice was artificial, a sugar drink. The bedroom was in a shabby state with the curtain completely ripped through - when I showed a photo to the manager she exclaimed (and a staff member told me they lost their maintenance staff a while back and were looking for replacements) but didn't offer a single apology once. The telephone in our room didn't ring to reception. The walls throughout the interior need painting. The hand drivers and shower head in out bathroom was hanging off the wall. A fire extinguisher has been ripped out of one wall leaving a hole. We didn't see any garden that is advertised on the booking profile. The staff were generally miserable, apparently from having to work with poor conditions and limited resources. Check in took absolutely ages, scanning the I. D. Took far longer than it should. The booking profile is misleading to mention swimming pool - in fact a treatment pool that must be paid for separately.

The hotel is very modern. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is good.

A/C is working well

No swimming pool for my daughters and I wish to enjoy time with them there, one have 2 years and 11 months, she is going to be 3 on September 14 th and no chance to enjoy with her. Check- in took too much time. 2 persons on reception cannot manage us, and one more guests , bonus printer not working . We cannot stay 2 nights what we have booked before because of urgent flight of my husband. I asked for a late check-out for half price of the room, answer was no, not because it is not possible, only because no one care. Room, balcony door are almost broken, toilet top broken as well, turn curtains and no drain at the shower in the room 118. Unfortunately, I have no idea how this hotel can hold 4 stars still, I think there are certain authority is sleeping. And no recognition of my birthday, maybe I have too many expectations. And the last thing is a swimming pool which is not including on the rate of the room and have funny discount for the guest in house. Almost forgot bar and restaurant, working only if you order service, and food not the best for the price they charge.

Lovely clean and spacious hotel. Staff very friendly rooms all sound proof.

I feel the hotel should state on the website that to use the pool is an additional Cost or include it in the price.

Spacious rooms, breakfast, easy parking, quiet rooms

AC in the bedroom always failing requiring the hotel people to restart the central AC system. In the next day the same would happen. And they never seemed interested in fixing it for good.SPA access was not included when booking via booking.com. Expensive treatments. Lacking personnel, unable to schedule treatments.

It was clean and the staff were friendly.

The breakfast was poor quality. The room was dated and the paint on the walls hadn't been finished.

Spacious rooms and great breakfast! Beds are very stiff, (for me is a plus) but other people might find this negative.

Quite some noise at night from people drinking in the bar dowstairs.
